We spent a fabulous Festive week at Lane Head and enjoyed our break so much. The cottage is so cosy, with a real home from home feel. Carmel itself was so very pretty and quaint, with the excellent L'enclume (which we loved) and also great pubs. The Cavendish was very welcoming and a great spot post walk. The best walk for our dog was Foot Fell Park, he loved it there. Finally, the full week was so exceptional because of an exceptional host...Mary. From the moment we arrived to sadly leaving Mary was so very warm and generous. Thank you Mary.
Fabulous cottage in walking distance of beautiful Cartmel. The cottage has everything you need and more....Mary the owner has thought of everything So peaceful, just the sound of birdsong Very highly recommended
