Outside there is ample off road parking, a shared lawned garden with patio, pond, furniture and a barbecue (available on request) and there is also a games room. Barn Owl Cottage has so much to see and do nearby, it is a lovely base for your Suffolk holiday.

The cottage is in a beautiful setting and the garden and lake make it a very picturesque place to stay. The cottage is very comfortable and it is so peaceful and quiet. We shall definitely return.

Fantastic get away for a couple or family. Very quiet and tranquil, loads of space and activities available. Extremely comfortable and relaxing.
The Cottage itself is brilliant, the beds were SO comfortable, the best we've experienced when travelling. We spent quite a bit of time in the cottage during our week's stay and it was a real home from home.
The peace was amazing, silence could be heard. It was so relaxing in very pleasant area, walks were great. Loved the swans & the owner couldn't be more helpful. Hope we can go back again sometime.
Very nice welcome pack, bread, milk and jam, very good. Owners were very welcoming. The Cottage is cosy and comfortable with a nice view of the lake. Fallow deer in the fields behind the cottage and a kingfisher near the lake. Excellent.
Barn Owl Cottage was everything we hoped and more!
This is one of the best holiday cottages we have had, it's great for a peaceful relaxing holiday and located ideally for travel to all locations in Suffolk & Norfolk. It has extensive grounds where dogs can be exercised, and early in the morning and late evening the ducks wander up the lawn from the lake, past the patio doors for a graze on the lawns. We give this cottage and location 10/10.
The setting was superb and the owners very friendly and helpful We had glorious weather which helped Lots to do in the area.
A wonderful holiday cottage in an idyllic setting. We were offered a very warm welcome with our young daughter (6months) and our dog. Perfect location for easy access to tourist attractions i.e. Sutton Hoo as well as gorgeous coastal towns on offer in Suffolk. I cannot recommend Barn Owl Cottage highly enough.
