My husband , myself and sister in-law and her granddaughter stayed here from 18th March 2017. When my husband and myself arrived on the 18th we arrived just as the owners were going out . This was the only time we see them in the whole week we were there. We were very shocked at how close were to the owners house. The cottage is in their garden . First impressions was ok, but soon found dirty kitchen items that we had to wash before we could use them. Kitchen not very well equipped, knives were blunt they could not cut crusty bread. Shower room very small , all had to go into bedroom to dry selves and dress. Bunk bed mattresses were so hard, and bunk beds squeaked and rattled every movement made. Furniture over all was very basic and not very strong. TV was on a coffle table in a very strange place. My husband knocked on owners on Sunday morning 2 times to let them know sister -in -law would be arriving Sunday PM and asked where to park. There was no answer, so husband rung their phone . Very bad customer service . Settee was flaking and only enough space for 3 persons to sit , so we had to bring in garden chair. Floor was not very clean in living area, when we tried to hoover , the bad smell of dogs lingered from hoover. Bad smell came from oven when we used it like it was burning and needed cleaning. We have stayed in a few cottages in Ledbury area and this is worse cottage we have stayed in. Read some of the information in the cottage and tried to follow one of the routes on the map ,only to find it was years out of date and buildings were now built in that area. Would not stay here again if we were paid.
The cottage was beautifully situated with a lovely outside seating area to enjoy the views and warm weather. A very dog-friendly property.
It was very relaxed, in a beautiful setting and the accommodation was lovely.
Orchard Cottage was in a lovely setting, the views were good and the cottage was very clean and comfortable. It had everything that was needed and the owners were very helpful, friendly and had a good knowledge of the area, could not fault it.
The lodge was lovely and had a nice fenced patio area for the family & the dog. The property sits in a small orchard making it very peaceful.
A wonderful cottage in beautiful gardens, and a great location for touring the area. The rural view from the lounge/kitchen/diner is wonderful and the welcome from the owner was warm and friendly. It was dog friendly too with a large meadow for exercise. Somewhere we would definitely want to come back to.
The lodge was well equipped and in a great location. The owners were very helpful and we really enjoyed our stay within the grounds of their home. The lodge was pet friendly and we liked that the lodge had a fenced area to prevent the dogs from entering the owners garden. We would certainly recommend this lodge and hopefully we will be back again.
Everything was perfect! The garden was stunning and the cabin was so cute. We would definitely come back and will 100% recommend this property to friends and family!
What a fantastic Cottage. Clean, well decorated and very well equipped. It was dog friendly which was a bonus. There were great views from the kitchen window and shops & pubs were only a 10 minute walk away. Owners are very friendly and give lots of useful information on the local area. Will visit again. A great Cotswold experience.
The owner was very welcoming. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and there was a huge selection of books, DVDs, games and toys. The main room had a lovely view over the fields to the woods which was very relaxing. I very much enjoyed my week in this lodge and would re-book should I visit Herefordshire again.
