Outside there's a front patio with furniture and roadside parking on a narrow road approximately 200 yards away on a first come, first served basis. Additional pay and display parking is available in the town. 12 Rattle Row is a lovely, romantic base with plenty to see and do in the area.

This lovely, quirky Grade II listed terrace cottage is tucked away down a pedestrian lane and provides wonderful views overlooking the town of Holmfirth. Enter into the kitchen, where you will find a stone floor, exposed beams and a delightful old stone fireplace with woodburning stove by the dining table. Up to the first floor sitting room is a wooden floor, open stone wall and warming woodburning stove, from where views over the town can be seen, and from the sitting room is another staircase leading to the second floor bedroom, with mullioned windows, wooden floor and exposed beams. This is a charming, cosy cottage complete with small patio and a low stone wall, from where views of Holmfirth can again be seen, along with hills beyond, making this a perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of tea. The town of Holmfirth, famous as being the setting of Last of the Summer Wine, offers a selection of old stone cottages and a number of festivals throughout the year, as well as shops, pubs and restaurants. Within reach is the wonderful Peak District National Park, along with the cities of Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield. This is an ideal cottage for a romantic escape at any time of the year.

This was a great little cottage, the standard of finish was high throughout and you could tell that it was a home. Beautifully located with great views over the town, it was quiet and a ten minute drive to the Peak District. The accommodation exceeded my expectations, would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was warm, cosy and lovely to stay in with good quality furnishings and bedding. Lovely and clean. We loved the location and places to walk, eat and enjoy the views from the cottage. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and thought the cottage was to a very high standard. We would definitely come back again as there was so much to see and do.
Extremely homely and welcoming, a beautiful quirky little cottage in an excellent position overlooking Holmfirth. Split over three levels, a fabulous view from every window and a gorgeous little patio complete with table and chairs to enjoy a cuppa, take in the beautiful surroundings and the more distant views. Superb!
The accommodation was perfect, it felt really homely with out being too personalized. The location within the town was great with easy access to everything.
