Location Details
The picturesque village of Hawkshead still retains the charm and character that so endeared it to its most famous residents - William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter. Cars are banned from the village, leaving visitors free to wander the wealth of tiny alleyways, thoroughfares, archways and courtyards between the whitewashed 17th Century houses. With stunning scenery and numerous attractions within easy touring distance, Hawkshead is in an ideal location at any time of the year.
Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

An excellent accommodation, in a beautiful setting. The cottage was very comfortable and spacious. Possibly the most comfortable bed we have ever had in a rented property! Great to be able to get logs on site and the swimming pool was wonderful for either a quiet swim or to take the kids. We would certainly look to book there again as the area is superb for getting out and about.
Fabulous cottage and location. Very well equipped and very clean. Plenty of healthy walks in local area for us and the dogs.

Lovely spacious cottage with everything we needed for our stay. The kids loved the pool and table tennis table when we had a rainy day. Well worth paying extra for the welcome food pack from the Honeypot.
