Located in a large barn conversion in the central courtyard, this first floor apartment combines modern comfort with traditional features to provide guests with wonderful holiday accommodation. The open plan sitting area has a vaulted ceiling adorned with exposed beams, and comfortable sofas providing a sociable atmosphere. There is also a separate sitting area, perfect for getting lost in a good book, along with a wonderfully equipped kitchen and a raised dining area. There are four bedrooms, each bright and comfortable, along with a shower room and a bathroom. A delightful Lake District cottage at any time of the year.
The picturesque village of Hawkshead still retains the charm and character that so endeared it to its most famous residents - William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter. Cars are banned from the village, leaving visitors free to wander the wealth of tiny alleyways, thoroughfares, archways and courtyards between the whitewashed 17th century houses. With stunning scenery and numerous attractions within easy touring distance, Hawkshead is in an ideal location at any time of the year.

Excellent facilities, the property was of a good standard, well equipped and comfortable.
A fantastic location, good facilities and a very homely property.
Plenty of space to eat and relax in the cottage for 8 people. Close to tourist spots but at the same time, peaceful and remote.
Overall the place was fantastic and we are already considering returning in the Autumn.

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
