This wonderful cottage offers the opportunity for a quiet, restful holiday just a 5-minute stroll from the shores of Lake Windermere, and superb lake views can be enjoyed from the property. There is a cosy sitting room, and a well-equipped kitchen with slate worktops and a dining area. Upstairs, the king-size master bedroom enjoys wonderful lake views, and there is a comfortable twin room along with the family bathroom. Outside is a private fenced garden with a patio area, overlooking the river and offering glimpses of the lake beyond. The Graythwaite Estate makes an ideal base for a holiday in this stunning part of the country. The central courtyard of the estate, around 30 minutes' stroll away, offers an indoor swimming pool, table tennis room and children's play area. A really well equipped cottage in a beautiful location.
Loved the location, the cottage was renovated really well but retained old style character. It was really warm with comfortable bedrooms, lots of room for a two bedroom property. We will be booking again.
A peaceful haven yet not too far from "the madding crowd."
