Gorgeous stay at old corn store cottage! Was equipped with everything you could possibly need, great parking space right next to your lodge, powerful shower and comfy bed. It also had tv in living room and bedroom, very spacious and good storage space. The owners Jo&Stuart was lovely and made a effort to show us the animals of a morning and you could go on a tour throughout the day, we go to log cabins/cottages all over the Uk and can honestly say we will be returning back here! Also to mention the views from the patio and hot tub, wow unbelievable of the moors and a great location- 5-10 minutes from Asda/sainbsurys/b&m etc. Will defiantly return.

The Old Corn Store was the first holiday myself and my husband went on together when we had only been dating a few months - and this visit was our 2nd stay at the property (for our 2nd wedding anniversary!). We received a warm welcome from the hosts - bubbly, milk and biscuits was a lovely touch and very welcome after a long drive from Scotland! The cottage is lovely - amazing views, hot tub and has everything you need for your stay. It was also fun to see the animals on the farm - there are often helpers around on the farm so just ask them and they are more than happy to let you visit the animals. Only gripe would be that we were waaay too warm the first night - however, my husband spoke to the hosts the following day and turns out there was another thermostat hiding behind a curtain that we hadn't seen - problem solved! Only other thing I would say is that the road leading to the farm is very pot-holey and could do with a repair. This cottage is ideal for couples and a dog (we took our little dog with us too). Recommend going to the moors for a walk. Also recommend going into Haworth (we actually spent most of our time there when we were out). A few (dog friendly) eateries worth a mention - Haworth Old Hall (owners are a delight and very tasty food), the Hawthorn (amazing steaks from charcoal grill), The Fleece Inn (yummy pies). Also worth popping to the chocolate shop in Howarth and picking up a box of their signature salted toffee and coconut oil truffles (shop is not dog friendly- but the lady working there is lovely). Thank you for a wonderful stay and we cannot wait to return again! Nikki, Joe and Snoopy x

This is a lovely friendly place to stay. The accommodation was clean and well presented, the kitchen is well equipped although there isn't a freezer there is one in the barn which is easily accessible and very kindly stocked with ice by the owners. Also on arrival there was tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and milk provided and a lovely bottle of bubbly! The owner Jo even supplied new laid eggs for breakfast! We stayed for three nights and cannot fault anything about the place. We didn't try the hot tub but maybe next time we will. We had lovely views and there are some lovely walks for the dogs there is also a secure area provided for the dogs to exercise in. It was also lovely seeing the geese every morning! If you like the country and want a quiet getaway I would definitely recommend the old corn store.

Just got back from our 3 night stay, we had a lovely time but some improvements need to be made! Bed was very uncomfortable as were the sofas! Also found lots of dog hair! Was very hot! Because the heating is on continuous the air is hot and very dry!! The lady that owned the property met us once and then was never to be seen again! Would of been nice for her to offer to show us around the farm! Hot tub was lovely although a little grubby! Also the area around the hot tub was grubby! The track down to the accommodation was terrible! Very steep and bumpy! Hardly passable! The milk, biscuits, bubbly and flowers were a nice touch but unfortunately we won’t be returning.

We have just got back from an amazing weekend at the old corn store. The views are lovely and aswell so are all the animals. One of the geese came in the lodge and made himself at home :) the under floor heating was a bonus aswell and the complimentary bottle of bubbly on arrival was enjoyed in the hot tub. Was a great weekend from start to finish :)

We had a very relaxing time at the Old Corn Store. The owners were there to greet us when we arrived (and were available to contact when we had any questions), and it was a nice touch to have some bubbly and milk/tea bags in the kitchen when we got in. There were lovely views, and the hot tub was amazing (it got used a lot!). The WiFi was virtually nonexistent though, not sure if it was better in any of the other holiday cottages - in ours we could rarely get connection and when we did it was really weak. Would be good to have a WiFi booster or something. The under floor heating was nice, it was set a bit warm when we got in but we turned it down and it was nice and pleasant. Our dog loved it, he enjoyed the field but wasn’t too sure about the geese! There were lots of dog friendly places to visit nearby, such as Hardcastle Craggs, which was good. Overall we would definitely recommend this place to stay.

As we are both pensioners found this cabin too far to walk to shops or pubs because of the very steep banks, had to use car for any trip out. Joan the owner gave us a lift to train station for a steam railway trip then picked us up again. Small cabin but everything u need is there including a private hot tub which was used daily. Joan brought us hens, duck and even an emu egg each. Animals in abundance, the friendly owners Jo & Stu took us around to feed the feed the alpacas and donkeys, see the pigs, emus geese, hens etc. Jo even brought one of the baby emu into the cabin for us to pet, great to see it scampering around. The peacocks came around the front of the cabin every day, and enjoyed the heat from the hot tub, the turkey came and settled at your feet so u could rub his head. One of the farm cats adopted us for the week coming in daily for a feed (or two) then settling down on the settee with us, going to bed with us, exiting out of the window early morning. Easy commute to POIs, possibly the best place to stay for animal lovers.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the old corn store in February for a relaxing getaway for our anniversary/valentines day. The only reason I am not giving this place 5* is because the road down to the cottage is hardly road worthy and not good for cars suspensions as there were pot holes everywhere but if taken slowly it was ok. The only other criticism I have was the temperature in the cottage. Even though it was cold outside as it was still winter, inside was absolutely boiling and we weren't allowed to alter the temperature (underfloor heating) in the living room as it would affect the water so it was just far too hot. I ended up opening all doors and windows just to get some air in. Other than that, the place was lovely and the hot tub was amazing. The people who owned the cottage were very friendly and left us with a bottle of bubbly, milk and some other goodies. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen was well equipped to make meals in. The views were lovely too from the cottage. It is quite close to malham cove so we went there for a walk one day. I would definitely return.

The Old Corn Store is a great quality property in relaxing farm surroundings. We love the entertaining menagerie of animals on the site. We enjoyed our visit in July 2015 so much that we returned in July 2016! There's lots to do in the surrounding area, the steam train from Keighley to Haworth is a splendid day out. The best part of our stay was being able to relax in the private hot tub each evening, whatever the weather.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Corn Store. Met by Stu who was very pleasant and then left to get on with our holiday. Received a lovely welcoming gift to enjoy in the hot tub which was much appreciated. Location was perfect and view was beautiful. We were close enough to amenities (just down the road) but out of the way of all the built up areas. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay and the hot tub was fab! There were also lots of animals around which was lovely (alpacas, donkeys, ducks, peacocks, emus, goats, chickens etc..) We even got eggs on our first morning which were fab! Would recommend a visit to Hebden Bridge and we enjoyed a lovely walk along The Rochdale Canal. Please visit The Lamppost if you have a dog they will love it! Would recommend!

The view from the terrace is fantastic. Whilst we were only five minutes from Keighley it felt so remote and tranquil.

The owners were fantastic hosts. The views were amazing and it was a very relaxing holiday. There were many local places to visit, including Haworth and Skipton. A very enjoyable week.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. The couple who own it go above and beyond to ensure that you have everything you need, know how things work and feel comfortable. The location is perfect, we stayed in the 2 person cottage with a private hot tub, surrounded by farm animals, cats, peacocks and more. We absolutely love the country life and this is a real taste for that. The cottage is a £5 taxi from the centre if you do not drive, making it very affordable and easy for couples who don't drive.

Rated by Ms Grogan reviewed on 16th June 2015

The property itself we considered excellent and the views were stunning. We found the hosts to be extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. We could not have wished for more. The added bonus of the various and unusual animals on the farm made it more enjoyable. This property was well situated for visits to other attractions. We would, without hesitation, recommend this holiday property.
