This delightful Ribblesdale village lies below a limestone scar (part of the Craven fault) and just across the river from the bustling market town of Settle. It?s an incredibly pretty place with sturdy houses and cottages, many dating back to the 17th century. Giggleswick has two pub s, whilst the wide ranging amenities of the nearby market town of Settle are within easy walking distance.
From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?
Lovey clean cottage. Duvet was too hot for us Aussies! Great Location, welcoming church next door and The Black horse next door serves great food and very reasonable prices. Lovely atmosphere around Giggleswick.
Booked this cottage as a base for a weeks walking holiday.it couldn't of been in a better spot.easy access to all the popular walks,malham,three peaks etc.spotlessly clean,well equipped kitchen,decent shower and comfy beds.what more do you need?oh and only seven paces to the pub front door.fantastic will definitely be back
The furnishings, crockery and cooking utensils in the Cottage were to a very high standard. It was very comfortable.
