Had numerous problems from arrival to departure. Hot tub wasn’t warm enough to use first night, apparently that was highlighted in new terms & conditions which were not communicated to us. No water to shower on the first morning & toilets not flushing, no water at all second morning had to call a very friendly handy man out several times. Spent so long waiting for it to be fixed lost a huge chunk of our weekend. Complained to receptionist she was not interested had an awful attitude and dismissed me to serve ice creams. Conveyed our problems throughout the stay not a single apology. Complained again on departure was given an apology an assured I would receive a phone call from the owners but heard nothing. Never have I had so many problems with a property or such awful customer service. So disappointing we left a night early.
Returned home today after a lovely 6 night stay. Beautiful views and a very short drive in Llangollen. The farmhouse was a perfect size for our family holiday; 9 adults, 1 teen and 3 under 8s. It consisted of two lounges, a large kitchen, dining room, 2 en-suite bedrooms, 1 bedroom with jack and gill access and another large bedroom. It was all spotless on our arrival and the heating was on ready so that house was toasty. We never felt on top of each other. We loved the bbq hut and definitely made the most of the hot tub; it was the kids favourite. There are a couple of negatives; a vacuum is needed and the majority of the doors didn’t click shut which was a problem with a very inquisitive 15 week old puppy. Ate in the bistro a couple of times and the food we had was good and I’m extremely fussy but I had no complaints. Will definitely book again as we had a fantastic time.
We used this venue as a hub for a family holiday and it did not disappoint. Very spacious outside with some activities. The hot tub is also very good (but does need some lighting so bring a torch). Ample parking and lovely little bistro seconds away. Beds are also very comfy. Shame the pool table is not adult size, and darts were broken, but it did the job. Would recommend.
The location of The Farmhouse was fantastic and plenty of great things to do with the family within easy reach of the property . The dining room had room for us all , the beds were comfy . we especially enjoyed the hot tub
