Just had a lovely few days here with family. The house is gorgeous and the owner couldn't have provided more of they tried. Everything was thought of, from the comfy beds, to the spacious rooms and the BBQ. The kids loved it, as there were plenty of toys and games. The location was great - close to nice independent shops, the beach, the pub and the all important park for the kids. Would highly recommend it!

This was a full family break with my wife and dog, both sons and their wives and my granddaughter. We spent a long time selecting the right cottage and Meadway house was definitely it. It is sited virtually on the front so location couldn't be better. The decor sets it as a holiday home with lovely seaside pictures on the walls and curtains with yachts etc fully setting the holiday scene. There is loads of space for everyone and the real highlight is the games room with a quality table football game , an table top arcade video game with all the old favourites including space invaders, pacman and arcanoid. and a selection of other great games. There's also a wi with games but we never actually got to use that. A very important point for us was adequate bathrooms and with 2 en-suite bedrooms, a lovely family bathroom an extra shower and a downstairs loo we were well catered for.

We were looking for accommodation for a Christmas group of 11 - eight big people and three young children. We chose Meadway for what we saw as the combination of space and flexibility with price. We were not disappointed. If you are looking for a country home in a romantic, scenic location with impressive views, Meadway is not it. Rhos-on-Sea has a suburban feel, being mainly 1930s-ish housing between Colwyn Bay and Llandudno. The house itself fits into that mould perfectly: large and stolid and towny, it could be in Watford or Manchester or Hove. But... if you need a place which can absorb a group of nearly a dozen people, have space for people to lose themselves away from the crowd, all sit round one dining table, with a kitchen fit to feed Christmas dinner to all, and wine glasses and crockery to match, Meadway may be for you. Bedrooms are comfortable, two with en suite, plus an additional large bath/shower room and a toilet downstairs. The sub-family of five (parents with three small girls) found the bedroom-off-a-bedroom arrangement at the centre of the house really helpful - the girls were quiet at the back of the house and had to pass through their parents' room before making mayhem elsewhere. The lounge is roomy enough for 12 people to open presents, watch a film or play a game. The dining room was in proportion, and we had our main meals there. Breakfasts were more spaced out and the eating area in the kitchen could take more than half of us at a time. The big bonus whose value we didn't spot in advance was the games room. TV/video, darts, proper table football were all popular, but it was the retro arcade unit with Pacman and Space Invaders that attracted the younger residents. Great to see my granddaughter enjoying the classics! Locally, there is plenty to do. On foot we explored the beach and the town, looked at St Trillo's tiny church, went to midnight mass at St George's, and the puppet and conjuring show (at the only permanent puppet theatre in the UK) and climbed the Little Orme - a cracking walk on a cold, bright and blowy Boxing Day. By car we went to Llandudno - beachcombing, fish and chips on the prom and all the delights of the pier. That is all very close - and the whole of Snowdonia is on your doorstep if you want to drive a bit further. Communication with the owners was exemplary - texts always had rapid and helpful replies. We felt well looked-after throughout our stay. We will stay again if we have a similar group to look after.

The house was beautiful and fully equipped, there wasn't anything we would have needed to bring except for personal things. There is lots of space everywhere in the house, the utility room is well equipped and all in all there was lots of space, there ended up being 9 of us and we were not all huddled up as there is bags of room. There is a lovely bay window on the front bedroom and in the living room, and with a side view of the sea, fantastic.

We were a party of 12 and could not fault this property at all, it is spacious, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The games room was fantastic and so much fun. The location was perfect just a short walk to the sea front, shops, restaurants etc. The owner was really nice and had everything well organised for our arrival. We will definitely be back later in the year.

An excellent spacious property in the heart of Rhos-on-Sea. Everything required for your holiday needs was provided for in the house and there are sea views from some of the windows.

This house was equipped with everything we could need, our party ranged from 6 years to 60 and we all had our own space - the games room was a treat! The owner was very accommodating. The decor was lovely and the kitchen was very well equipped. All in all a fabulous house in a perfect location near to the beach and lovely village of Rhos-on-Sea.

The house was very welcoming and had everything we needed for a winter, weekend break. Everything worked! The house was lovely and warm when we arrived and it was spotless. The log burner was very efficient and made the lounge really cosy in the evening. Meadway is almost on the seafront and within seconds we were able to be on the promenade and walking into the blustery gale with a beautiful wild sea to blow all the cobwebs away. The decoration and the lovely curtains and furnishings made us feel we had come to a home rather that a holiday cottage. We will be back!!

A stunning house in a beautiful location. Had a perfect weekend for my daughters birthday celebrations. The House felt spacious even with 11 family members staying and the games room went down well with the children (of all ages!). There is so much to do in the area, we will certainly consider booking Meadway again.

A great large home, with all of the features needed in a great location. Our kids especially liked the games room, very well stocked and gave them many hours of entertainment. The fireplace and lounge room were lovely with ample room, main bathroom was a great size as well.

We had wonderful family weekend with ages ranging from 78 to 30. There was a roaring fire, cosy surroundings and it was well equipped. The games room that brought back childhood memories for the younger family members.

This property is perfect, very welcoming and the owners have thought of everything. The House was spotless and very roomy. The games room was a particular hit with the kids (grown up ones also!). Rhos on sea is a beautiful seaside town unspoilt by commercialism which adds to the charm. We had a fantastic week away with extended family. Would definitely return to Meadway House.

The home was well-equipped with everything required, and the games room was a real treat with kids and adults alike. The proximity to the beach and the promenade was a real plus as we enjoyed the walks in the evenings and the pubs and restaurants nearby.
