Located in the grounds of the owners' home and only two miles from the picturesque village of Yalding, this is the perfect place to stay when looking to explore the counties of Kent and Sussex. Offering comfortable ground floor accommodation, there’s an open plan living area and an attractive twin bedroom where you can awake to the views of the surrounding apple orchards after a restful night's sleep. Whether creating delicious dinners or packing a picnic for a day trip, the well-equipped kitchen has everything to hand. Why not enjoy your morning coffee alfresco in the sunny garden? If country pubs are on your holiday agenda, then make for The Woolpack, which is less than a mile away, where after a brisk winter walk or a slow summer stroll, you’re find a selection of meals from tasty bar snacks to speciality fish dishes. For those who delight in outdoor pursuits, be it country rambles, cycling or fishing, then you’ll have plenty of choice in this part of Kent. There are two large fishing lakes within a couple of miles and numerous footpaths to travel. Enjoy a cream tea on Teapot Island, where two rivers merge to flow into the River Medway, a beautiful spot to sit and watch the boats bob by, or spend the afternoon in the nearby pretty village of Yalding, with its quaint shops and narrow bridge.
