This is a wonderful getaway property in a lovely quiet location. We enjoyed very deep and refreshing sleeps in the large comfortable bed, and scenic bike rides in the surrounding countryside and villages. The owners and their dogs made us feel welcome. We would recommend without hesitation this property.
A lovely property which was spacious, light and clean. The owners were friendly.
The accommodation was light, airy, beautifully furnished and absolutely spotless. The accommodation was so good we could just relax. Thank you.
A brand you barn conversion completed in June this year, fitted out with quality products, a bespoke handmade kitchen the carpentry and finish superb, plenty of crockery and cutlery, all that you need in a kitchen. Comfortable seating to lounge, lovely well fitted bathroom cosy towels and to top it off a bedroom that definitely has wow factor, the super kingsize bed my husband and I almost had to send out search parties to find each other, joking aside very comfortable, with beautifully soft bedlinen. On top of all these positives, there is garage space to park your car, A fantastic retreat for any couple or friends as the bed unzips to make two full sized singles. You have a view over the owners orchard and field where horses munch their way through the days. The two dogs that live at Crayke Lodge are very friendly, one was just 11 weeks old for our stay so well cute, but well behaved. A total joy.
A lovely property in a superb location with friendly and helpful owners.
The accommodation was immaculate, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back again.
The décor was very tasteful and the bed was SO comfortable. We would have liked to stay longer but my husband's job prevented that. It is very convenient for the Yorkshire National Park and for York itself. We enjoyed it thoroughly.
A lovely relaxing stay in a very comfortable and well presented cottage. In a quiet location but a good centre for touring the area. Had a warm welcome from the owners and I would be very happy to stay there again.
A beautiful, bright and spacious cottage in a very tranquil location but with really easy access to lots of lovely places to visit including York. Easingwold is a lovely town with a great market. The owners are lovely, very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The bed was the most comfortable one I have ever slept in! The cottage has lots of thoughtful touches and everything you could need. I didn't want to leave, will definitely stay again, highly recommend.
