Reviews

This was the best cottage we have been to.

Rated by Dr Martin De Juan reviewed on 24th July 2016

Little Danescroft is in a wonderful location, just outside Fort William, on a raised position giving great views of the Fort William area and Ben Nevis directly opposite. The local steam train passes close by with a small station within walking distance. The is a shop (co-op) close by and supermarkets a short drive away in Fort William. The cottage has good WiFi and television and a well maintained garden. The owner was very welcoming and always on hand if required. Highly recommended !!

Little Danescroft was so well appointed, I felt almost obliged to bake a cake! I didn't, but everything was there for me to do so. The best equipped kitchen in a self-catering cottage I have come across. The garden was beautiful, and provided the fresh roses we had in each room, and it was a pleasure to enjoy the view of Ben Nevis and Loch Linnie and all their changing moods. A really restful and pleasant week.

The owners were very welcoming and helpful, and Little Danescroft was comfortable, clean and had excellent views. The patio area was a lovely place to sit.

The owner was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The view from the living room window is breathtaking, Ben Nevis dominates the skyline, with beautiful coastal views over to Fort William. It was just 5 minutes walk from Neptune's Staircase and the Caledonian canal, and all the local amenities on your doorstep. This is a great base for a Highlands holiday.

This was my second stay this year and I was not disappointed. The attention to detail by the owners to make the stay enjoyable is second to none.

Little Danescroft was a comfortable and warm accommodation with views across the Loch and (sometimes) Ben Nevis. The North West Highlands are wonderful for walking.
