The owners here really went above and beyond to make this cottage a home. The little touches around the place were great! I think the cottage really under sells itself! It has all the amenities you would ever need! From slow cookers to board games/ books and dvds. Each morning we were awoken by the sheep outside which was really pleasant and round the back we could hear the river. I don’t think either of us wanted to leave. It was in a great location and the pub next door was great :)
Fantastic cottage to spend Christmas in. Lovely cosy place with everything you need. Great location close to many of the most beautiful places the lakes has to offer. Easy to get to. The cottage is well decorated, furnished, and equipped. The pub is a few doors away, friendly, with good food and a large open fire. We would definitely recommend for couples or a family of four.
It was a real home from home and a great base to explore the surrounding area.
This was a very cosy cottage, newly renovated and felt really clean and fresh. It felt like the owner had put in lots of thought to what people like in a holiday cottage. Really good shower! Great location for visiting the South Lakes. There is a local pub that is very friendly and lovely walks from the door.
The cottage was lovely, clean and nicely decorated. We liked the communal garden, the rural location, the kitchen and the bedroom best. The location was good and we enjoyed a nice meal at The Farmers Arms.
It was a fantastic cottage, set in an ideal location. There was not anything we did not have or want during our stay. Superbly finished cottage, kitted out for any needs.
