Reviews

Seaside holiday in Bridlington staying at Seascape. The house is extremely comfortable and has everything you need, it really is home from home. We booked a beach chalet to coincide with our holiday cottage. This was perfect, we walked down to the most amazing beach at south cliff with our picnic for the day. Then to come home to the home comforts of Seascape. Fully equipped kitchen to prepare tea, plenty of hot water for everyone to de-sand! A very comfortable sitting room with views out to sea to relax in. On the odd evening we went for a walk down to the harbour. Would definitely recommend Seascape. Its perfect.

Spent a week at seascape and it is a lovely property. Everything is spotlessly clean. The kitchen has everything you need during your stay and the fact there's 3 toilets is great if there's a few of you staying. The bedrooms are lovely and the beds are super comfy with good quality bedding and we could not fault upstairs in any way. The room that let the house down for us is the living room unfortunately. On the pictures of the inside of the house it shows a lovely long white leather sofa in the living room but what's actually there is 2 mismatched sofas and an old brown leather chair. The red sofa and brown chair have definitely seen better days as both are very uncomfortable if sitting for any length of time, the other sofa is ok but still not very comfortable. The furniture in there is also dark wood and along with the red sofa and brown chair makes the room feel very dark. The TV is too small for the room, the living room is massive and has high ceilings and so the TV just looks lost, it's the size most people would use in a bedroom. The carpet also has several noticeable stains in various places which show up with the carpet being a light colour. No problems with any other room but the living room needs attention. For this reason we didn't fully enjoy our week so wouldn't book again.

Great home from home place to stay. Very reasonable. Fantastic amenities, quality of everything has been outstanding. Will probably be back. Right on the seafront of the south beach.

We had a great week at this perfect cottage (well large house!). It is right on the front just a few steps from the beach. Our two girls (ages 3 and 5) loved it, and it was only a minute to get back and cleaned up from the beach. There is also a toddlers paddling pool on the way down to the beach which the kids enjoyed. There is plenty of parking at the cottage, as you don't really need the car to get around. We had great days out at the 'birds of prey centre' at carnaby abc at sewerby hall, which are both geared up for young children. For those who like real ale, the telegraph was a great pub with a good range of ales! We have already booked again for next year!

We stayed here for a weeks holiday, the house was fantastic and had everything we needed. The outlook from the bedroom every morning was superior, the kitchen was well equipped and the beds comfy. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and off road parking was a plus. The beach was just across the road and had miles of beautiful sand. Town was a short walk away, the Lobster Pot pub was a short drive away and served lovely food. A trip to the lighthouse at Flamborough and Filey is recommended. Overall a fantastic break :)

The property was very clean and had everything you could possibly need especially in the kitchen. The position of the house was great with beautiful views.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Seascape. The house was excellent in every way. The view from the windows were lovely. We thought having your own parking space is a big bonus. The fenced in garden at the rear of the property was a lovely safe environment for our little dog, she loved it. We would certainly recommend Seascape to our family and friends.

Well equipped 3 bedroomed semi-detached property overlooking Bridlington's seafront and beautiful beach. Front facing bedroom has a beautiful view with en-suite facilities, bathroom with shower over bath and down-stairs toilet. Comfortable beds and all linen and towels supplied. Good amenities, large fridge freezer, washing machine and drier with dishwasher, good size kitchen and large dining area. Lovely large living room overlooking seafront. Enclosed garden with furniture, parking in driveway. Nice 5/10 minute walk to Spa and centre of Bridlington, with some really nice drives around such as Sewerby Hall and Beverley. Good Wifi. My only niggle would be that your pet is not allowed in the living room which would be better stated in the booking conditions as this may be off-putting for some pet owners.

Seascape is in the best position possible. It was so clean, well decorated and well appointed with everything you will need for your stay. I could not rate this house any lower than 11 out of 10.

This was the best holiday home we have ever booked. The house and the location is fantastic; a short walk into town and to the beach. The only disappointment was we could not book the house again later in the year! We would recommend the property to anyone; all you need to bring is yourself and your clothes, everything else is provided.

When I arrived at the property it far exceeded my expectations, and they were high. Where the property was located was ideal for walking my dog on the beach and also for walking into the town centre. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and I will certainly be using it again. Highly recommended.

It was very comfortable, clean and cosy, the beds were really restful and all the bedding and towels were top quality. This is a house you want to stay in forever, we have already booked again for next year. My verdict on this property is PERFECT.

A spacious house, perfectly decorated for a family holiday. It is right opposite the beach and a short walk into town. It's perfect and if it's still available next summer we will book again.

Rated by Mrs Volante reviewed on 18th November 2015

The property was large and spacious with quality furnishings and was spotlessly clean. In a perfect location. Top class crockery, cutlery and linen were provided and you wanted for nothing, everything was provided. It was a pleasure to stay there and have booked for next year.

Fantastic house with sea views and easy access to the beach.

Rated by Mr Sergeant reviewed on 29th August 2015

The cottage was furnished to high standard, spotlessly clean had every thing you would need for your holiday. There was an enclosed well maintained garden and was an ideal position for beach.

Rated by Mrs Worstenholme reviewed on 15th August 2015

We enjoyed the proximity of the property to the beach and town. We visited Filey, Flamborough, Hornsea and Beverley where we did quite a bit of geocaching. Coming home to the house in the late afternoon after being out all day was very welcoming; there was always plenty of hot water to soothe our aching bones. The view from the window was lovely, looking out to sea.
