Firstly you really must visit UNION HALL when travelling around Ireland, it looks like something out a portrait with walking trials and great pub style restaurants ( and I totally recommend Caseys Bar for traditional Irish food and company ) I stayed in the self catering cottage with my daughter and son for two weeks last year as my daughter completed an internship with a local Fashion Designer and we absolutely loved the accommodation and the location. Carol and Jim, the owners were so friendly and helpful and offered us great advice and my son loved the nightly visits to the garden by a local fox called Henry. ( we saved our food scraps for him )The cottage was huge with two big bedrooms with an ensuite in each plus a great sized kitchen and a washing machine and dryer. My daughter had been studying in Paris for 2 years so I was happy to provide some some cooked meals for her after so long and the oven and kitchen supplies were perfect for that. The gardens were beautiful and it was just a few minutes walk down the hill to the cute village of Union Hall where there is a little supermarket, cafe and a few local bars. I'm sorry its taken so long to review but I have told lots of people about this hidden gem. Totally recommend :-)
