The small village of Pandy is situated just inside the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons), one mile from the Welsh/English border. Pandy has two pubs and two hotels and both the Offa?s Dyke Path and Marshes Way pass through the village. Just six miles away is the lovely market town of Abergavenny. Abergavenny consists of a castle with its own museum, churches, an indoor market hall, shops, pubs and restaurants.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
This is one of the best holiday homes we have ever stayed in. Everything you could possibly need for self catering is provided for. The shower room is lovely and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfy and the bed linen was of excellent quality. The kitchen is really well equipped and having a washing machine was a big bonus too. We can not recommend this little lodge highly enough.
Our stay was wonderful. It was a good base to return to after touring around Wales! We would defiantly inquire to go back another time if we were to visit Wales.
The owners were very good hosts, they went all out to give us a good holiday. It was by far the best place we have stayed in, and we would recommend it to all our friends. Thank you very much, and the pony.
The Lodge was cosy and comfortable with everything we needed. The garden was safe for our dog and beautiful to sit out in on warm days. The location is ideal to explore several local towns and perfect for walking whether it be for amateur walkers like ourselves or more experienced adventurers!
We liked absolutely everything, the quality of fixtures, fittings along with décor and wonderful owners
The Lodge was very comfortable and the surrounding area was beautiful.
An excellent Lodge which was very comfortable with all amenities. The owners were very friendly and it was perfectly placed for walking Offa's Dyke. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
We loved the cottage, it was a very clean modern home from home. There was a safe enclosed garden for the dogs and the surrounding area was brilliant for walks and scenery.
Could not fault the property in any way, everything was excellent.
The setting around the accommodation was perfect for dog owners & walkers. Our dog could run free in safety & play in the stream. There were plenty of good well marked walks from there also. The Lodge was perfect and everything we needed we found there. It is somewhere we will be recommending highly to family and friends. We will look forward to returning there.
The Lodge was probably the best equipped holiday home we have stayed in. Excellent décor and facilities. Ample parking and very quiet. Also very dog friendly.
The Lodge, Lower Trefdw is superbly situated. A wonderful little Cottage with its own private garden and views over surrounding countryside. Everything possible had been considered to ensure a pleasant stay. A truly five star accommodation and experience.
Liked the attention to detail, so much care and thought has been put into the place. Our little staffie settled in so quickly. It's gorgeous. The location is perfect, with amazing walks and scenery right on your doorstep but the convenience of Abergavenny a few miles down the road. The hosts were so welcoming, yet very respectful of our privacy throughout the stay. Just perfect.
