A wonderful location, marvellous views and with easy access to Ulverston. Great walks straight out of the cottage, no need to get in the car. Delightful to be on a working farm with such a kind and welcoming family.

It was top notch accommodation. From the moment we arrived everything was so clean and looked great, it was a very comfortable, warm cottage. The scenery was beautiful and it was a great base for seeing the Lake District and surrounding beaches - there was so much to do!

We really enjoyed stopping at Horace Farm, the standard was very high and it is in a lovely spot, very quiet and relaxing. The owners were very welcoming and extremely helpful. I loved the friendly nature of all the locals, and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Cannot recommend this cottage enough, you won't be disappointed if you choose to stay at this cottage.

Horrace Farm Cottage is a delightful comfy base in which to explore the ample surrounding countryside. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and accommodating providing a sneak peak into farm life. The added bonus of a washing machine meant I did not arrive home with hoards of washing! Overall a perfect holiday was had by all including the dog!

The owners were very helpful in suggesting places to visit with consideration to our dog and our particular preferences. The cottage was in a good situation - quiet but within easy access to shops and the South Lakes.

The owners were extremely helpful, and as they live in adjoining farm it was handy to be able to pop next door with any queries. The Cottage was very peaceful and quiet, and being high in the hills we enjoyed cool air and far reaching views to the estuary.
