Four bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double (or twin) with en-suite shower, wash basin and WC, additional 2 x double (or twin), 1 x ground floor twin. Owners will need to be advised regarding twin/double layout requests 21 days before arrival. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Location Details
Kirriemuir is a lovely red sandstone town in the valley of Strathmore, offering a fine variety of shops, hotels and pubs, surrounded by some of Scotland's most unspoiled landscape. The birthplace of novelist JM Barrie, whose house is now a museum looked after by the National Trust, and there's also a statue of Peter Pan in the town centre. Kirriemuir also offers an Aviation Museum, Glamis Castle and the historic Pictish Stones at Meigle.

Rottal Farmhouse was fantastic with excellent scenery.
This is my third visit and Rottal Farmhouse feels like a second home. Enjoyed the walks roundabout and coming home to a cosy house. It snowed quite heavily one day and made the scenery even more beautiful.
Great farmhouse, perfect size and excellent kitchen facilities. Can not fault it in any way. It was dog friendly and our Yorkie enjoyed long walks. Highly recommended!
Enjoyed a lovely weekend away with friends at Rottal Farmhouse. Nice and relaxing sitting by the log burner in the lounge. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of walks in the surrounding area. Would highly recommend.
A fantastic Farmhouse, the perfect size with excellent kitchen facilities, and the log burning stoves are great. It was dog friendly with lovely walks and it was snowing, so was perfect for sledging, had a fantastic time and would highly recommend.
A wonderful building and location, cannot fault it in any way. We spent a long weekend here with friends who also thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Looking forward to booking for next year.
Had a wonderful holiday in this cosy farmhouse in beautiful Glen Clova - we didn't leave the valley for the whole week. It had a very well equipped kitchen with a fab 4 oven Aga. The rooms were all very spacious and comfortable. There was wonderful walking on the hills and up at Glen Doll. LOVED EVERYTHING, would definitely return.
We had a very relaxed week. Loved the walks around cottage and the woods were great nearby for the dogs. The log fire was lovely and the cottage extremely warm and cosy. No negatives at all, would recommend it to anyone. Amazing big old farmhouse, ideal for family get togethers.
