This holiday home was just wonderful, it was exceptionally clean, beautifully furnished and comfortable. The house had everything that you could need and more. The welcome pack was lovely, fresh eggs, milk, and some lovely extra's. The owners Katrin and Bruce were a delight and very helpful. We found that we could get to all places that we wanted to visit very easily, Ruthin is 10 mins away in the car where you have all the amenities that you require. We could not fault this and would recommend this property without any doubt. Excellent!!!

Our stay in this little gem was excellent. The beautiful surroundings are perfect for unwinding & relaxing. The house itself has everything you could need & plenty of space. Sitting in the hot tub watching the sun go down over the hills was particularly enjoyable. The owners were wonderful & provided fresh eggs from the farm on arrival plus a few other little extras that made the stay even better. We all loved the stay here so much, we are already planning another holiday here!

This was our second visit to Tyn y Celyn and again we loved every second. The house is well equipped and finished to an immaculate standard topped off with spectacular views & friendly owners. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had a fantastic holiday in this amazing property. A kitchen equipped with everything you needed (the owners even provided eggs from their own chickens, a bottle of wine, fudge, cake and milk!) Spotlessly clean throughout and the most spectacular views. The hot tub was fantastic and time spent in it was thoroughly enjoyed by us all. Could not have wished for a more idyllic location, so peaceful. Thank you Catrin and Bruce

Our second visit to this wonderful cottage, after nearly 2 years time difference we were amazed and pleased to find that the high standard of finish achieved by Bruce and Catrin had been kept and looked after by their Patrons. Upon arrival the welcome pack of Fresh Eggs, Fizz, Mulled Wine, Chocolate Cake, and a box of Milk Tray plus other essentials to get you going for your first day. Catrin came to see we were settled in ok and to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay, giving the level of comfort that they were on hand if needed ,which we did when the snow came down, we needed a hand getting up the hill out on to the main road , Bruce helped with a smile and joke. A leaving gift of fresh eggs was much appreciated , the double yolks keep coming. This a place where we will keep returning. Thank you Catrin and Bruce

We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years and this is definitely the best yet. The cottage was spotlessly clean and is finished to a very high standard with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. On arrival we found a bottle of wine in the wine cooler, eggs, milk, a cake and a box of chocolates. We came to realise that this is typical of the attention to detail that the owners display. This the only cottage we have stayed in where the owners have popped by during the week to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The hot tub was a perfect way to finish a day of site seeing. With easy Bluetooth connection to a phone or ipad, you can lie back look at the countryside and listen to your favourite music. Wifi is included as are smart TVs in each bedroom and the lounge. Access to the cottage is off a winding narrow lane so slow careful driving is necessary but during the week of our stay we only met an oncoming car twice. When you first arrive you wonder where you are going but take it steady and you'll be fine. You don't need to go far on the narrow lane. Within about an hour's drive there is plenty to do. Chester Zoo is well worth a visit and you can easily get to Llanberis for a trip on the Snowdon railway (just hope for good weather!). Superb accommodation, lovely views, a hot tub, considerate owners, easily access to attractions. The only thing we didn't like was having to come home so soon.

The cottage is pure luxury, the attention to detail is second to none and the hot tub is the icing on the cake. The owners are really friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have all you need. The location is remote enough to get away from it all but close enough to many of Wales's greatest attractions, Snowdonia, Zip Wires, Go Ape, the Electric Mountain and many more.. We will definitely be back.

We have just returned from a 4 day stay at this little piece of heaven, hidden away in the Welsh hills. The cottage itself is finished to the highest spec and has absolutely everything you could possible need for happy and comfy break. Beautiful rooms, all ensuite, comfy beds, crisp fresh bed linen, fridge, freezer, washer dryer, microwave, wine cooler and the fantastic hot tub. The hosts Catrin and Bruce could not do enough for you and were so friendly and welcoming. The little welcome gifts were very much appreciated, as well as the delicious fresh eggs. We chose to go here to get away from it all and chill out - lived in our pjs or swimsuits the whole weekend, but I believe there are lots of lovely places to go not too far away I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Myself and 5 friends spent a long weekend in this hidden gem. A wonderful property, with spacious rooms, each with en-suites. The kitchen and living area is fantastic and the wood burner keeps you warm during the winter. The hot tub is superb and allows you to sit out and enjoy the views. The owners were very friendly and helpful, providing us with a courtesy visit to check everything was okay and whether we required anything or any help. The location of the cottage is quite remote and a great place to stay to get away from the world! We're disappointed we had to leave and are certain to stay again in the future and would have no reservations in recommending this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

My husband and I stayed here from 29th October until 4th November with our 2 children. All 4 of us had a fantastic break. We needed to get away from it all and relax, and this cottage offers just that. The hot tub is an added treat and perfect for to relax in even when it's chilly outside! Despite the location being tranquil and peaceful, there are so many things to do nearby- you could never be bored! The property has 3 fabulous bedrooms all with en suite. The open lounge/kitchen was ace and had everything you could possibly need! All furnishings were of an exceptionally high standard. The washing machine and tumble dryer were a welcome addition with two young children! I really can't say anything negative about our holiday. The owners Bruce and Catrin made us all feel so welcome and nothing was a hassle. Would come back in a heartbeat and would recommend this property to anyone.

We booked our holiday here in February for October. It was well worth the wait. A three bedroom, (all ensuite) a beautifully decorated kitchen. All the essentials we needed (minus some baby proofing (i.e. gates) were available. Catrin had the baby cot and highchair for us, and the cottage and experience was wonderful. The sights around were fantastic to see. We really enjoyed our walk around the Loggerheads Country Park, and we probably would have enjoyed Moel Famau without our 16 month old screaming because of the winds. Catrin made our stay very welcoming, checking to see if there was anything we needed, and providing some welcoming items. The hot tub was the best part for us. We would put our daughter to bed each night, and experience the hot tub for hours! This is what our holidays have become for us to relax, and this cottage is one we've talked about returning to. There are TV's in all the rooms and the living room, but we didn't even watch it as the cottage itself was lovely to experience. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to bring a family, or spend time with friends.

In an amazing setting, with fantastic scenery, and less than an hours drive to Snowdonia. There are lots of very good pubs and restaurants in the local area, and the owners of the cottage were accommodating. The addition of the hot tub was fantastic, and really added to the cottage.

We had a fantastic stay at this property. It is a lovely cottage and a great place to stay. We enjoyed the quiet location and beautiful views. The cottage gives easy access to places to go and things to do and see. The cottage itself was warm and cosy and the bedrooms were great and really comfortable.

Everything was amazing here! Would highly recommend this place to anyone! The views from every part of this place are just beautiful and shows a perfect example of the Welsh countryside. The place itself is stunning, as soon as you walk in you can smell the fresh wood, no expense has been spared Here, you can see much time and love has been put into this to make it stand how it does today! It's very warm and well equipped and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The beds are super comfy and the linen and towels are lovely and fresh. It's a very private secluded feel to the place, although the owners are on site you don't get that impression at all. The owners were wonderful and so welcoming, they both made our stay very comfortable and made us feel very much at home. We will all definitely be returning in the future again... And again... Much love for Tyn y celyn uchaf.
