There is a ground floor double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area and there is also a garage with a utility area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a patio with furniture. Peniarth is a wonderful holiday base. Note: Adults-only property

Penybontfawr 0.5 miles. Situated on the outskirts of the popular walkers’ village of Penybontfawr, in the picturesque Tanat Valley, at the foothills of the Berwyn Mountains in Powys is this welcoming semi-detached cottage. The cottage offers comfortable upside down living on the edge of the village on the owner’s working farm and enjoys some lovely views from the rear of the property. There is parking on a private gravel driveway next to the cottage, access is up four external steps and one internal step into the open plan living area, furnished with comfy leather sofas and a Welsh dresser decorated with waterfall frescos, a drop leaf dining table and a practical, fitted kitchen. Mezzanine stairs lead down to a welcoming double bedroom which offers a modern en-suite bathroom with bath and shower over. To the side of the cottage is a circular patio area with seating which provides a perfect spot to sit and relax whilst enjoying the delightful country views. There are walks literally from the doorstep onto the hills and the energetic can hike to the famous Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall, with the highest single drop fall in Wales. The village offers a welcoming pub, as well as a Post Office and shop, and the popular tourist towns of Bala and Oswestry are less than 15 miles away to the east and west. This is an ideal holiday destination for walkers all year round.

The traditional Welsh village of Penybontfawr is situated in breathtaking countryside amidst the Berwyn Mountains. The village has its own shop and pub and the area is ideal for climbing, birdwatching, walking and cycling. Lake Bala, Lake Vyrnwy and the town of Oswestry are all nearby and well worth a visit.

Wonderful picturesque cottage, spectacular countryside views with kind and welcoming hosts. An idealistic way to escape the city and appreciate the stunning views Peniarth and the surroundings Penybontfawr has to offer. I didn’t have to work hard to capture these pictures. Really was a perfect destination and one I look forward to returning to.

A perfect place for a holiday,quite,homely,very clean and well maintained.the views are with me for the rest of my life, I would not hesitate to recommend this holiday let. Our host's could not be bettered. I t would be a pleasure to recommend.

Superb location, lovely furnishing and so well equipped. A quiet but very interesting working farm location and such a friendly supporting family close at hand to assist and advise us.
