With its abundance of quirky shops, tea-rooms and restaurants, the bustling town of Narberth is a wonderful place for a daytrip, and with many pubs as well as live bands playing at the Queens' Hall it makes a great place for a night out too. The rest of Pembrokeshire is within easy reach, with the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot particularly close by, as are the isolated, unspoiled sandy beaches at Broad Haven and Barafundle. Boat trips are available locally and offer visitors the chance to spot dolphins in their natural habitat, whilst the island of Skomer is home to a huge variety of bird life. For those who crave something more of an adrenaline rush, the Oakwood Theme Park is close by and the area is home to numerous white water rafting opportunities.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Cottage was incredibly well equipped, furnished and clean. Everything you could possibly want was in the kitchen (plus some extra things!). The hosts Pat and Teresa were fantastic, very friendly and welcoming and there to answer any questions. Du the dog was just excellent - our three year old is very unsure of dogs and absolutely loved Du. The surroundings are beautiful, it was lovely having a wander about to see the sheep and waking up each morning to see the chickens outside. The cottage is absolutely perfectly placed to explore Tenby and the surrounding areas. We had an amazing holiday and wouldn't hesitate to come back.
Had a very comfortable stay in this well equipped cottage, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The weather was perfect. There are plenty of places to visit, and places to eat, all within driving distance of the cottage. I really enjoyed looking after the chickens and eating their eggs. They were tasty. There is everything there you need for a holiday. We all fell in love with Dee and wanted to take him home! The owners Pat and Teresa were fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. Really hope we can stay there again, maybe for longer next time. Highly recommended.
Pembrokeshire is stunning. So many beautiful beaches and picturesque countryside. We were happy to receive such a friendly welcome by the owners. The house was very clean, fresh, tidy and well stocked with everything you may need. The children loved it here, well recommended as a great time had by all.
The cottage was lovely and the owners were very friendly and accommodating without being too intrusive. The cottage is large, decorated to a high standard and designed well with the bedrooms some distance from the lounge which prevented disturbances. We particularly enjoyed our children being able to look after the chickens during our stay; being able to feed and water them. We would easily recommend this cottage to anyone and would choose it over our usual place to stay as it is excellent value for money.
Lovely cottage with on a small holding with owners who are accommodating without being too intrusive. Clean, well equipped, well designed and well decorated cottage with everything you could possibly need including consumables. A particularly nice touch was for our young children to 'look after' some chickens for the week; feeding, watering and collecting eggs for breakfast. The location is excellent within easy reach of the many activities in the area, such as Folly Farm and Bluestones (Blue Lagoon is great for any 'wet' days) as well as great beaches at Saundersfoot, Tenby, Barrafundle, St Davids..the list goes on. Would easily choose this property again if staying in Pembrokeshire. We would easily recommend this prpo
We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It was perfect for our small children and they loved looking after the hens. The owners were very welcoming and there is plenty to do in the local area to suit all ages.
This is an extremely well equipped cottage in a great location. The cottage had all the equipment required for a baby too, which was great!
The cottage is perfect for young children and the kitchen also has everything you need. It is a big cottage so the kids had lots of space to run around and the garden is perfect for them. The cottage is also presented really nice which was great for us adults. My son was able to feed the cows, lambs and chickens everyday and the owners are brilliant with kids and really helpful. There is loads of family activities close by too. We love this cottage and will be back.
The Cottage was huge and had everything we could need with a small family in tow. We loved the location of the Cottage.
The cottage is beautifully furnished and very clean. Two lovely bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. The central heating was very efficient when occasionally needed and the hens, ducks and the dog (Du) were delightful.
