The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms which are made up of a king-size double and a twin. There is also a shower room, a kitchen with a dining area, a sitting room with a multi-fuel stove and a utility. Outside you will find off road parking for two cars and an enclosed lawned garden with a patio and furniture. Bunty's Place is a wonderful base for exploring this part of the country at any time of year. Please note - The owner does own dogs and occasionally they do stay at the property.

The comfortable sitting room is perfect for curling up in front of the warming stove, whilst the kitchen with dining area is ideal for gourmet meals rustled up on the range cooker or planning the route for the next day’s outing. The two comfortable bedrooms won’t fail to provide a cosy night’s sleep, leaving you refreshed and ready to conquer another day in the Northumberland countryside. To the rear of your cottage there is a spacious lawned garden with patio and furniture, a delightful spot to sit and watch the wildlife in this tranquil, unspoilt area. Within easy reach of your cottage are Bowden Doors, a haven for rock climbers, and the village of Chatton which boasts a village green, a shop/Post Office, an art gallery and a pub, which serves excellent food and ale. Just a short drive west are the wonderful Cheviot Hills, where you will find walks and cycle routes to challenge all abilities, and to the east is the stunning Heritage Coastline, with its castles, villages and endless golden beaches. There are also many links courses in the area, and Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Holy Island, the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne Priory, along with the breathtaking Northumberland National Park are all within reach. This cottage makes a wonderful base for a superb holiday at any time of the year.

Consisting of a cluster of stone-built houses surrounding its small village green, the village has a shop including a Post Office, an art gallery and an excellent pub The Percy Arms known for its good food and beer. A short drive will take you to Alnwick Gardens, the Northumberland National Park and some of the most breathtaking coastline, boasting such delights as Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island and Lindisfarne Priory and the Farne Islands. An excellent touring base.
