Reviews

We booked this property for my fiancé and her bridesmaids for the night before our wedding. When she arrived, the electricity had gone in the small area and the owner was nowhere to be seen. We thought at the very least he would offer candles, a generator or maybe find them alternative accommodation considering we had our wedding the following day! The power never came back so we had to book alternative accommodation ourselves which was more cost. This property cost us €300 and the owner refused to give any sort of refund at all! We weren’t expecting it all back but we thought because we couldn’t use it that he would provide something but no, he wanted to completely ignore us. My wife had to rush around getting things ready which was not ideal when he could have made some arrangement to help but he never did. Avoid this place, not for the property itself, but for the owner, pure ignorant!!

First class accommodation in a first class peaceful location. The owner was attentive and at the end of the phone if we needed help. The property is rural but just minutes from Doolin, it was well placed to visit The Burren etc.

If I had to describe the Farmhouse in one word, it would be 'quality'. Everything from the furniture and appliances, to the towels and bedding are of the highest quality. Staying there was a delight. We were here in March and found it to be very warm and cosy, particularly when curled up in front of the fire. The location is excellent; very peaceful and quiet, but only a few minutes drive from Lisdoonvarna and just 10 minutes from Doolin. It's a great base for exploring the Burren, with most of the major attractions less than half an hours drive away.

We absolutely fell in love with this cottage. It is so comfortable and modern. The decor has been finished to an extremely high standard, it has all the mod cons you can possibly need and more. The kitchen is lovely and spacious and is perfect for those family dinners. The beds are so comfy and the showers are fabulous. The cottage is set in a quiet and picturesque area and is a short drive to Doolin or Lisdoon. We even got engaged on our holiday here!! Can?t wait to go back next year!!

Just back from a wonderful holiday in Clare and staying in this holiday home made the trip truely enjoyable. It looks impressive from the outside but as soon as you go inside you will be taken aback by the high standard of this house. The kitchen is very well equipped, beautiful bathroom, great showers, lovely bedrooms with the most comfortable beds, nice comfy couches in livingroom area. The house was very warm and there was hot water 24/7. Having wifi was a great bonus and there was plenty of TV channels. The owner has put great thought into providing everthing you need to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I absolutely fell in love with this house!! Definately the nicest holiday home that I've stayed in. Location is great as the house is in a lovely quiet area and yet only a short drive to Doolin or Lisdoonvarna. Cliffs of Moher, Doolin Caves, Lahinch beach etc. are all on your doorstep.
