The bedrooms consist of a double and two twins, along with a bathroom. Outside there is a garden with lawn, patio and furniture, as well as roadside parking two cars. Within 3.1 miles you will find a shop and within 0.1 miles, a pub and please note that two well-behaved pets are welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for open fire, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Kingsley Cottage is an idyllic base from which to explore the treasures of Norfolk. Stalham 2 miles. This fantastic, three bedroom, end-terrace cottage is conveniently located within the village of Hickling near Hickling Broad. Hickling Broad is one of the largest of the Norfolk Broads and popular for nature lovers, birdwatchers, walkers, cyclists and beach-lovers alike! Surrounded by beautiful coastline, stunning countryside and the famous Norfolk Broads, there is plenty to do close by. As soon as you step in to the property you will feel at home, the cottage offers comfortable living which has been tastefully furnished throughout. Upstairs there are three attractive bedrooms providing comfortable accommodation for six guests, with a spacious ground floor family bathroom with bath and shower over. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen offers a fantastic social space for all guests where you can enjoy dining with the roar of the open fire on cooler evenings. Alternatively, the sitting room offers a light space with patio doors opening out to the decked area and enclosed back garden for alfresco dining on a summer’s evening or why not pop to one of the two nearby pubs and enjoy a local beer? With something for everyone here you are sure to want to return to this cottage in this wonderful part of Norfolk again and again.

The market town of Stalham boasts a well stocked high street featuring a variety of shops and eateries; a typical, lovely North Norfolk town.

Location Details

The market town of Stalham is a typical North Norfolk town, with a high street that has a decent selection of shops and restaurants. In addition to regular sales in the town hall, there is a small market that visits on Tuesdays and a farmers' market every other Saturday. A museum that will give you a better understanding of the Broadland ecosystem is essential as Stalham is one of the main starting sites for boating vacations on the Norfolk Broads. This is the ideal starting point for exploring the Norfolk Broads and shoreline because it is only a few miles inland from wonderful beaches.

Reviews

Kingsley Cottage in a village within the Norfolk Broads. It was ideal for our dogs as the large garden was very secure. The village is a great base from which you can visit Potter Higham & Stalham for shopping. Cromer and Gt Yarmouth are within easy driving distance. Returning to the cottage each day felt like going home.

A homely warm property with a spacious dining kitchen. The garden is safe for children and pets. Well positioned, 100 yards, for local pub (The Greyhound) that offers good food and drink and a warm welcome. Good walks around the area and little light or noise pollution.
