The Lobster Pot is a wonderful family holiday home, situated a five-minute walk from the beach between St Lawrence and Ventnor, on The Undercliff on the Isle of Wight. The cottage is semi-detached, adjoining another holiday cottage, with two bedrooms; one double room on the first floor, and a twin room downstairs, with an additional z-bed available if required. There is also a family bathroom on the ground floor, along with a shower room upstairs. The living accommodation is open plan, with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area, and the patio outside is for the use of The Lobster Pot guests only, with beautiful coastal views, garden furniture and a barbecue. There is also a shared games room and direct access onto the Isle of Wight Coastal Path. In a great spot, with wonderful accommodation, The Lobster Pot is ideal for a getaway by the sea.

This wonderful stone cottage is situated in stunning surroundings, adjoined to Beachcombers, with its own, designated south-facing patio area with a table, chairs and a barbecue, plus picturesque coastal views. The living space includes a dining area and a fitted kitchen, and there are also two bedrooms, one double and one twin, with an additional z-bed if required, providing sleeping for up to five people. The cottage shares the use of a games room and the beach is just a short walk away. Note: This cottage can be booked with Refs. 926288 and 926283, together they sleep 15.
The Victorian seaside resort of Ventnor is situated at the southern end of the Isle of Wight. The town is sheltered by St. Boniface Down, one of the island's highest points, and it also offers sandy and shingle beaches, the Botanical Gardens, shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.

When we arrived at the location we were suprised to find the road, I use the word “road” loosely , that led down to the property was a very rough downhill track and this hadn’t been mentioned in the details about the property. I didn’t like driving down. My husband is a very experienced motorcyclist and felt this access for him and his bike was pretty precarious. Part of our process when choosing where to stay is based on access and parking. We didn’t feel this was what we would want to do a few times a day on a motorbike. We did go into the cottage and sadly that wasn’t as described, there wasn’t lots of light flooding in, pretty dull and dingy really. At this point we decided to find alternative accommodation. Once we had found somewhere I messaged the owner on WhatsApp to inform them that we weren’t going to stay at the cottage as planned due to access road. I could see message had been read but sadly got no acknowledgement from the owner. We weren’t requesting any money back. Felt this was somewhat rude. Cannot recommend this accommodation
This house is very clean and had everything we needed. Great location, 5 minute walk down to the sea and coastal path. 5 minute drive into Ventnor, right next door to Botanic Gardens. Good outdoor seating area and table tennis tables. Owners very helpful, highly recommended.

The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
