A picturesque town situated on the stunning Bay of Kenmare, overlooking the Atlantic. Beautiful beaches, wildlife and lovely scenery abound here. The coastline is rugged with sandy beaches nearby, while pebble beaches surround the bay. Kenmare is an interesting town, full of character and colour, with long winding streets setting the scene for farmers' markets, artists' galleries, lovely little boutiques and some of the best restaurants in Ireland!
County Kerry is a mystical and unspoilt part of Ireland, with spectacular natural beauty and a fascinating history. Facing the Atlantic Ocean, it features many sandy beaches, rocky inlets and stunning peninsulas.
Our family of 6, 2 adults and 4 children stayed here for 4 nights in March. It was just fabulous. This home is perfect, The decor was so tasteful and restful, the beds are super comfortable, and it was spotless. The furniture was so comfortable, with 2 beautiful sitting rooms so there was so much space, for relaxing and plenty of games and books. The kitchen was fully equipped, with absolutely everything you would need. We really had a great time here, Romi who met us with the key was so helpful, when there was a brief power cut in the area (which added to the excitement for my kids) Romi was up to us in 5 minutes with candles. I hope we will get to come back to stay in this house again soon, it is a perfect base for exploring the amazing walks and breathtaking scenery in Co Kerry.
Stayed in this cottage in February with a couple of friends and it is genuinely the nicest holiday home I have stayed in. The cottage itself is absolutely spotless, couldn't find a thing out of place. The beds are immaculate and so comfortable. The comfort levels make getting up even harder! The kitchen area is huge and has everything you could possibly need and more. There are supermarkets close by which are perfect to buy food to stay in and cook! We had some lovely nights in making home cooked food and then sitting around the fire until the early hours watching films and chatting. Time went by a little too quickly! I loved the decor and the furniture, the whole place is cosy and homely! We weren't ready to leave! We enjoyed the small touches like the choice of board games, books and films. My friends and I are frequent travellers and all agreed this was our favourite place to stay. We cannot find a single fault which is very unusual for us! The location is perfect, just a short drive from Kenmare town where you can find amazing restaurants and lively Irish pubs! The cottage is situated in a perfect place for touring the Ring of Kerry which is breathtaking and also Kilarney's National Parks. I highly recommend staying here, the cottage is tranquil and peaceful and literally perfect! We had a very friendly welcome by the caretaker which was much appreciated. We are looking forward to returning in the summer to make use of the barbeque and to enjoy some peace and quiet in this fabulous place!
This was the second time to stay at the Ring of Kerry Golf Club Cottages. The Cottages are more like small homes. The kitchen is well kitted out as described and off it is a large kitchen/dinning room table. The living area has three large sofas with great views looking over Kenmare Bay. Separate to the living room is a small TV room with a surround sound - ideal for those rainy days. The bedrooms are all large with a large main bathroom, off the master bedroom is a large ensuite bathroom. The cottages are situate behind the golf course further up the hill so you will need a car if staying in these cottages as you are about 10 minutes drive outside of Kenmare.
Beautiful cottage set in beautiful settings with stunning views, easy reach to surrounding town's, villages and attractions.
