Prys Mawr offers a warm Welsh welcome from the minute you walk through the door. Sympathetically and imaginatively renovated to a very high standard, the cottage radiates charm and character, with oak wood flooring and locally hand-crafted oak doors. Upstairs, there are three good-sized bedrooms, each benefiting from en-suite WCs with the double also with a shower. The lawned garden to the front is enclosed by shallow stone walling and the patio with garden furniture provides a fantastic location to sit and soak up the sunshine whilst enjoying the uninterrupted views of surrounding countryside. Enjoy a refreshing drink or dine alfresco and discuss the day’s adventures. There are some wonderful countryside walks from the doorstep; visit St Cybi’s Well or enjoy a walk along the coastal path. Nearby is Lon Goed, an avenue of trees which leads to the coastal path. Prys Mawr is also set on the Pwllheli-Portmadog cycle path with wonderful routes to follow. There is also easy access to wonderful beaches at nearby Criccieth, Morfa Bychan and the whole of the Llyn Peninsula. Reviews

We have just spent a week at this beautifully appointed cottage, on the Llyn Peninsula. It has been renovated to a high standard and there is everything you need. It is so quiet here and peaceful. No noise from the neighbours, as there are none for miles, apart from the cows, bats, owls and birds of prey. If a car went down the lane, it was a rarity. The owner left a lovely welcome pack too, that was really thoughtful. The beds were very comfortable and a superb bathroom on the ground floor, but each bedroom had its own toilet or en suite. Really had a peaceful enjoyable time. Would definitely recommend

Prys Mawr was a well equipped property, in tranquil surroundings. The main purpose of our holiday was to do plenty of walking which we did over fantastic mountain terrain and beautiful coastal walks in baking hot sunshine.

An excellent cottage in a great secluded location, in a wonderful part of the world. The owner has clearly given great attention to the details. There was an excellent balance of comfort with a feeling of casual luxury. We will very likely return in the future.

A great cottage in a great location! Perfect for exploring the surrounding areas both on foot and in the car. The cottage provided a great base that gave us plenty of space, inside and out, and the touch of luxury that we enjoy.
