Just returned from this lovely cottage. So small but so well laid out. It is lovely. In the middle of nowhere and a long way from anywhere of interest but a walkers and dogs paradise

A nice cosy little cottage, very private and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. There were stunning walks on the doorstep, and if you have a child there is a fantastic woodland park 300m away.

The Old Barn exceeded our expectations. It was in a peaceful location in a beautiful setting with terrific dog walks nearby. The owners made us most welcome from the minute we arrived and were very helpful throughout our stay. The cottage was very clean and every little detail was thought of. It was our first stay here and we would definitely visit again. We would highly recommend this property to our family and friends.

Stayed for one week and surpassed all expectations. Lovely welcome from the new owners who have thought of everything to make your stay most enjoyable. A stay here would be lovely any time of year. Plenty of dog-walking in the surrounding area. The Old Barn was very clean and well equipped. On the lower floor the living area, combined with the kitchen and dining area (within the conservatory) give all the room you need for a comfortable stay. A large modern bathroom adjoins the mezzanine bedroom. There is a wardrobe and drawers which provide plenty of storage for clothes. Plenty of clean towels are provided in the bathroom. Radiators are placed throughout the cottage, should you need them. Car parking at the rear of the property. There is also a patio area with seating for outdoor living. This was our first visit but we will definitely return again, and would recommend this property to family and friends.

The Old Barn was a great place to stay and the location was ideal for walkers, yet close enough to amenities to be able to go shopping and sightseeing.
