Absolutely stunning house. Our second time of visiting and it’s still as beautiful as it was 4 years ago. The garden room has had a makeover, since our last visit and it looks lovely. This is a lovely house, with lots of the rooms having beautiful sea views. The attention to detail in this house, is second to none. You don’t need to bring anything with you, other than your clothes and yourself. It has a lovely big garden, for chilling in, with lots of seating, hammock, swing and a lovely hot tub. You won’t be disappointed, with a visit to his beautiful house. Susan, the owner is lovely and very helpful. Sending you details of places to eat, walks etc, if you’re not from the area. I would definitely recommend a visit

Rhodewood Lodge exceeds all expectations. An absolutely magnificent property in an excellent location. Have already stayed on 3 occasions and have booked to return. 100% recommend.

Outstanding!!! I cannot speak highly enough of this property. Myself and my husband have just returned from a weekend break at Rhodewood along with 2 other couples. The whole house has been restored to an extremely high standard and not one room will disappoint you as the owners obviously have very high standards. Its comfy, inviting, well equipped and set within a lovely part of Wales. The welcome pack on arrival was a lovely touch as well. We are already working on a date when we can all return. Debbie

We had an amazing week in this very comfortable family which has been restored to a high standard. It was a short walk to beautiful sandy beaches and the town of Saundersfoot. An ideal setting for a family holiday, suited to all age groups. We've booked to come back next summer as we were so sad to leave.

Had the best family holiday at Rhodwood Lodge. The property itself was absolutely stunning and spacious - so relaxing and perfect for the whole family. The views from the lounge and dining room were beautiful and the hot tub and patio area were ideal - once again with lovely views out towards the sea below and over towards Wiseman's Bridge and Amroth. The property is close enough to the centre of Saundersfoot, but well enough away from all the hustle and bustle too. A perfect holiday retreat. Felt like a real home from home. Would love to come again!

Rhodewood Lodge is an impressive, solid home, on differing levels both inside and outside, making it a fascinating place to stay. The kitchen has every item needed and there are seating areas for everyone to be together or to separate for quieter pursuits. The rooms are large and airy and all decorated beautifully. The beds and sofas are all comfy and many rooms have seaviews, others have garden views. The hot-tub, hammock and swing set in lovely lawns and terraces are enough to keep you at the house, but if you have good hill climbing legs you can explore all around by foot. Just opposite the house is a wooded walk to the beach if the tide is out, from there is a sandy walk around the harbour to the village. When the tide is in, it is a walk up/down the main path (or higher wood) with lovely views en-route. There is a Tuk-Tuk taxi in the village for those too tired to walk back. Saundersfoot shops are a mix for tourist and locals, with all the wonderful ice cream, fudge and gift shops plus clothes outlets and hardware. And there are endless places to eat locally and further afield. Next time, with Covid just a memory, we will try horse-riding and sailing too. It's a stunning base for a holiday, rain or shine.

It was a second visit for us staying at this beautiful house in Saundersfoot. 3 years ago I celebrated my 50th there with friends and we vowed to come back one day with family. It did not disappoint and was as wonderful as I remembered. Our party was much smaller this time but we enjoyed having lots of luxurious space. Home from home the place was spotlessly clean and everything had been catered for. This was great for us as we tested out the cooking facilities much more this time due to COVID restrictions in eating out. It’s in a lovely spot in Saundersfoot with views overlooking the bay. Plenty of local walks with a gorgeous hot tub waiting at the end of the day to relax. We would thoroughly recommend.it once again and would love to return again one day.

We stayed here for a whole week and it felt like home from home ! A really beautiful property with great home for everyone to find their own space or all come together and enjoy food and company. Nicely situated , a short stroll into Saundersfoot, with great walks around the Pembrokeshire countryside. We will definitely be returning to Rhodewood Lodge

What an amazing house! So cosy and homely even though it was really big! All bedrooms a good size and communal areas are fantastic. We only had a few of us in the property and the variety of spaces to chill out were fantastic. Hot tub has amazing views! Location was perfect for us, very near the town without having to be right in the center! Would definitely stay again! Also they were fantastic in terms of Covid precautions! Made you feel very safe staying here!

So 11 of us just come back from a 2 night stay at this house. I have to say that when we pulled up we were blown away and then as we visages each room (and there are lots) we were more and more blown away the house is spectacular, the furnishings, all the nic naks, decor are fantastic, we all chose rooms to stay in and everyone was really happy. The kitchen is fabulous but we didn’t really use it to it’s full capacity we just made toast/ tea etc and we were out and about but we could have made a full dinner if required as all utensils there. The hot tub was a big success and we all loved a dip even in the feb rain . The beds really comfy and the house warm and cosy. We walked to and from saundersfoot and quite a steep hill but fine, we also caught the bus to Tenby which was easy. All in all a fabulous house and would we go back that would be a resounding yes from us all .

Three generations of our family made the trip down from the Midlands to Saundersfoot with high expectations of a great holiday having paid more for our accomodation than we have done on previous family holidays. And boy we were not disappointed On first exploration of Rhodewood Lodge we were all hugely impressed with the space the property provided and with the quality of all the fixtures and fittings. There are lovely touches throughout the Lodge which were clearly well thought out when the owners were planning how the place should look on final completion. The place was spotlessly clean and the beds lovely and comfortable. I haven't so well in ages. The garden does slope and younger children will need to be supervised but having said that, it is probably the most contented our grandchildren have been playing in the garden. The hammock in particular was a huge hit. For the adults if you enjoy sitting in a hot tub with a glass of prosecco you won't be disappointed! The owner, Sarah Pemberton and the team she has looking after the property couldn't have been more helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Saundersfoot is a lovely and buzzing seaside town with great safe beaches and many restaurants. Further afield you have Amroth to the east and Tenby to the west. Tenby is well worth visiting but be aware it is very busy especially in the school holidays. If a walk along the coast is your thing then a hike to Wisemans Bridge is well worthwhile. There is a great pub there selling some good quality real ales. Rhodewood Lodge is within walking distance of the beaches in Saundersfoot although it is at the top of a steep hill. Having said that we all made it up and down. I did struggle cycling up the hill although for my son and his partner they had no problem. Probably something to do with my age. Would we go back ................. yes!

I can't recommend this house enough. Our party ranged from 23 - 89 all of which had a lovely week. Situated at the top of a fairly steep hill which maybe an issue for the less mobile but even Grandad managed the hill twice daily. Beautifully decorated. Spotless and comfortable beds. Everything you needed was in the kitchen if you had a rummage. Plenty of space for everyone inside and out. Sure it would be equally as cosy in the cooler weather with the log burner lit. All in all a lovely week away and wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Family of 7 adults stayed for a week. House is of an exceptional standard and large enough so we could escape each other when we wanted. Decor and furnishings of a very high standard. 5 to 10 minutes walk into Saundersfoot which is a great location. With fantastic beaches. Would recommend.

We had the most amazing stay here! The house is spotless and the attention to detail on the decor is second to none! The views are amazing and location is perfect! We stayed here for a few friends 40th birthdays and we couldn’t have asked for more! The owner Sarah was so helpful and lovely. She left us a little thoughtful welcome pack that was just lovely. Everything there was of such a high standard and we couldn’t have wanted more! We have booked again for next year and can’t wait!

My friend booked this house a year ago, so there had been much anticipation and expectation and we were not let down at all. The rooms are beautifully furnished we like the design of the house with the kitchen, dining room and one of the lounges all in one. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. The beds were comfortable with crisp bedding. We used the upstairs dining table sometimes and the room it was lovely in the sunshine. We loved the hot tub which was very easy to use. The views from the house to the sea were breathtaking. It is just a few minutes walk down to the beach as is the town centre which has good shops and restaurants. A great house for a base in South Wales, Tenby is only a short drive away. Thank you for our wonderful stay, hopefully we will be back.

This was booked by my son for a family holiday and presented to us last Christmas. All the pictures and information about the house do not really do it justice. When we arrived we were blown away by the size and luxury of the property. The owners have clearly put a great deal of time and effort into creating a home from home. Every room has stunning furnishings and the ensuite bathrooms are the best i have ever seen, with excellent showers. The gardens are well kept by Llewellyn and his team, and have stunning views over Carmarthen Bay towards the Mumbles. Linda and Lisa do an excellent job inside the house, clean and tidy not a thing out of place. The short walk down into Saundersfoot reveals a vibrate town with good pubs and restaurants, and stunning beaches. We all had a thoroughly good time and would not hesitate in recommending Rhodewood Lodge. Ben and Sarah thank you for letting us share your wonderful home.

Booked this holiday for a family get together, the focus of the holiday was all about relaxation and this house certainly provided the luxury and the time out we were all craving. Situated in Saundersfoot there was enough going on there to keep us busy in the day before relaxing in the late afternoon in the gardens of this beautiful home. The hot tub provided even more relaxation. During our weeks stay some of us enjoyed an afternoon at St Brides Spa - a few minutes walk away from the house. The infinity pool looking over Saundersfoot bay was a highight as was the afternoon tea. Others went off to BlueStone to use the water slides and lazy river. We all enjoyed a day out in Tenby along with days on the beach but the overwhelming majority of us just couldnt wait to get back to this wonderful house. Don't think we have ever stayed anywhere so fabulous - this was our first British summer holiday for many years as we do tend to prefer abroad but we are definately planning a return to this home as soon as possible. Loved the welcome pack at the start of the holiday as well. Missing the beautiful views that the house and the garden provided. Also missing the star gazing and the shooting stars !

We really couldn’t of asked for anymore from this house. Not only does the house catch the eye of everybody that walks/drives past it, it also has the advantage of stunning views & perfect location. Inside provides everything you could wish for, tastefully decorated & owners/ cleaners/ neighbours are super responsive and help support a very enjoyable holiday. We were a party of 9 consisting of my mother, my family of 4 (kids aged 11 & 9) + sisters family of 4 (kids aged 2 & 5). We were lucky to have fantastic weather and spent lots of time on the various beaches, taking the boat adventure to see the seals, porpoises and even a Sun Fish made an appearance. We also hired the paddle boards for a personal experience. My sisters family went to Folly Farm with the younger kids (Peppa Pig was there) whilst we went to Haverton with the older kids which has loads to do. We spent a couple of hours at a small local indoor water park with a wave pool & lazy river & slides. There is also a theme park but we didn’t have time to visit. The neighbouring village of Tenby is also worth a day out but then this area is so beautiful you cannot find a dull place. I simply can not recommend this place enough.

The house and location exceeded our expectations, beautifully appointed and decorated to a very high standard, extremely spacious and comfortable for our family needs. Plenty of space and carefully planned areas to find a quiet place to relax or for the whole family to share time together With beautiful weather as a bonus we were able to enjoy the garden area too for eating out and relaxing after a busy day. There was a detailed information folder to give us tips on beaches, local walks and restaurants to try. We had an amazing holiday in a truly wonderful seaside village.

Rated by Lynne B reviewed on 24th July 2018

The house was of the highest standard of cleanliness throughout the spacious, beautifully furnished accommodation. The advice on information book provided via email prior to arrival, hard copy in house, gave accurate advice on everything from shopping, beaches (of which there are many), to eateries and days out, we found accurate on the ones we tried. We adhered to advice given regarding supervision of young children in the garden at all times, we were three generations, 6 adults and 2 children one 3 years and one 18 months. However they had full run of the extensive property once some ornaments etc. were put out of reach and were safe to play hide and seek without incident throughout the whole property. Having stayed at holiday cottages from the West of Ireland to Scotland and around England we all agreed this is the best one yet by far.

We visited Rhodewood Lodge last week for a 7 night stay with a party of eight, ages ranging from 9 through to 86! What a magical week, the house is stunning, looks amazing in the pictures but better still in reality. My husband and I chose the room at the top of the house with a bath overlooking the sea, what a treat with a candle and glass of wine! We’re in no doubt we’ll return to Rhodewood, We all fell in love with Saundersfoot, the surrounding area is beautiful and people are so lovely. Highly recommended but you won’t want to leave!

Firstly what an absolutely stunning house, I must admit from the moment we booked our holiday at Rhodewood the whole family were excited to stay here and it does not disappoint at all. We travelled as 8 adults and 3 children and the house was spacious enough for us to enjoy each others company or spend time apart. the Children loved it and have many games of hide and seek in the house where I admit we lost them for a good amount of time :) Everything about the house is just perfect and made an amazing base for our family holiday. We also had the most perfect weather which was great but also a shame as we didn't get to spend as much time within the house as we could have. The grounds and garden is fantastic and the hot tub was an added bonus/luxury that we don't normally have on our family holidays. We cannot wait to visit again if possible.

I stayed with my 4 sisters at Rhodewood Lodge the first week in June 2018. What an absolute delight.! This is a large family house with every amenity and comfort you could think of - including a very high spec 'hot tub' which we enjoyed after amazing beach walks around the locality. The location is amazing , with Sauntersfoot beach virtually on the doorstep . Sauntersfoot itself is a wonderful village with lovely shops, cafes, and seafood restaurants ( and a well stocked Tesco Express!) This area of Wales has an amazing history , and the visits we made to Caldey Island and St Davids were wonderful . I cannot wait to return !

We stayed at Rodewood Lodge for a Birthday celebration and when we arrived we couldn’t believe how beautiful the house was. The photos we had looked at before arrival did not do this property true justice as it is truly stunning. There was plenty of space for 9 adults and each room was decorated and furnished to a very high standard. We were lucky to have fantastic weather too and therefore took full advantage of all the garden facilities including the hot tub, sun beds and seating areas. There are beautiful views from the rooms at the front of the house overlooking Saundersfoot bay and it’s just a short walk from the beach down the hill. We had a truly amazing time and will definitely return.

We travelled as a family group of three generations for a birthday celebration and it is certainly one we will remember. Relaxed family meals around the large dining room table, walks along the local beach, sitting in the hot-tub overlooking the beautiful bay – just wonderful. We will most definitely be back for visit number three!

We visited Rhodewood at the beginning of November 2017 for a weekend break celebrating six significant birthdays in a group of friends. Eleven of us went but there was plenty of room for everyone. The house has been well thought out and decorated and furnished to the very highest standards. There is something to look at in every nook and cranny from antique sewing machines, bowls and ewers, beautiful vases full of silk flowers to beach themed items. It was just so nice to be in such a lovely place. The kitchen was really well kitted out with plenty of dishes, plates, pots and pans etc. The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautifully done and there was plenty of easy seating and dining space downstairs. The hot tub was positioned where you had a most wonderful view of the bay below through trees...again just so well thought out. As it was late in the year we didn’t use the garden furniture but there was plenty of it had the weather been warmer, again all positioned to capture that view. We have stayed in many different locations individually and together over the years, but every member of the group said that Rhodewood Lodge surpassed them all and also surpassed our expectations for our weekend away. Would I recommend it...most definitely. I cannot think how anyone would be disappointed if they were lucky enough to book.

I been visting Saundersfoot for many years and this is by far the best house I have ever rented in area. The owners have thought of everything. Many little details you just don't get as standard in other rentals. We had a party of all different age groups and the house worked so well. Great for kids as at night you can not hear between the floors so bedtime was easy. Thank you very much for making our holiday just amazing.

On days where there was glorious sunshine we could enjoy the numerous stunning beaches, frisbee golf, and the whole host of other activities available in the area that Sarah and Paul kindly note in the visitors manual. Rhodewood Lodge exceeded our expectations. It's a very beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped house, and was loved by everyone in our party. Its position, just a short walk up the hill from the village centre, provides the loveliest views through the trees down to the sea. The nearest beach is just a few minutes' walk down a footpath - a real bonus for the kids - and you can walk round to the main beach at low tide. Everything is within easy reach. The owners were very helpful and provided lots of information about the house and surrounding area. We'd love to return.

We visited Rhodewood Lodge in June 2017, our group consisted of 7 adults and 4 children. The house is amazing, finished to a really high specification down to every detail and contains everything you'll need for your stay. The garden is also nice with a great hot tub, fantastic views and plenty of furniture. The house is in a great location with the town and beeches just a short (but slightly hilly) walk away. There are plenty of things to do for the kids within a short distance including Folly Farm, Dinosaur Park and Manor Wildlife park. Tenby is a 10 minute drive which is also a great place to visit and take various boat trips from. Sarah and Paul (owners) were very helpful and provided lots of information about the house and area prior to our stay. Saundersfoot is lovely, not too big with amazing sandy beeches and quirky shops. Plenty of good places to eat and have a drink too. Highly recommended.

Rhodewood Lodge is simply amazing. The house is beautiful with lovely decor and more spacious than appears on most pictures. It's in a calm area, a short stroll away from local shops and the Saundersfoot beach which make it a catch! The front of the house and side garden faces out onto a lovely view of the sea. 3 of the 6 bedrooms come with nice large en-suites which is another bonus making it perfect for groups. Separate lounging areas also allow for privacy or areas to work, if need be. The garden is perfect for a relaxing day and night with the provided hot tub and BBQ. Even on smaller notes, the owners have equipped the house with anything you may or may not need. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and would personally like to visit again!

Well what can I say, we were absolutely blown away by Rhodewood lodge! The house is absolutely stunning and has everything you could need/want during your stay. All of the rooms are perfectly finished and you can tell that a lot of thought has gone into every detail. The house is much bigger than I expected and so plenty of room for large groups or families. Everything within the house is of the best quality and you can tell the owners care about the place unlike other holiday homes I have stayed in. Sarah and Paul were wonderful and provided all the information we could possibly need about the house and surrounding area. Saundersfoot is a lovely little seaside village and plenty to do around the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone. My only problem was that I didn't want to leave!!

We stayed at Rhodewood Lodge with a group of friends-what a spectacular house with amazing views. Beautifully and luxuriously decorated and so much space! Relaxing in the hot tub on Monday morning definitely beats the usual Monday morning rush hour blues. We will definitely be back!

This is by far and away the best house we have ever rented. Not only is it huge with plenty of space for all the family with 3 different spaces, it's also so well presented with all high end goods inc smart tv's. The beach is stunning and only a short walk away. We will 100% stay there again.

Rhodewood Lodge in such an easily accessible location in relation to the town making walking effortless, especially with the comprehensive and helpful compilation of recommendations of places to go both in terms of days out and to eat. The house itself is both homely and spacious meaning as a group of 18 and 19 year olds we felt very comfortable and at home. We had such a wonderful time and can't wait to go back and enjoy more of what Rhodewood Lodge has to offer.

We stayed last weekend in Rhodewood Lodge for my 40th birthday treat with friends and what a treat it was, the house is absolutely stunning and designed to a very high standard, we kept taking pictures of certain pieces to make our own Pinterest board. The luxury runs right through the Lodge and the beds are so comfy, I now want to buy one for myself. My favourite part was the hot tub, we had such a great time in there with bubbles and a view, you only had to lift the cover and it was ready to go. The owners are lovely too, I had great contact with Sarah by phone and email, she sent lots of information about the Lodge and surrounding areas, restaurants etc. We will definitely be returning next year. Thanks for a memorable weekend xx

Newly renovated, the house is wonderful! It's been thoughtfully designed, well spec'd and tastefully decorated throughout. There's enough space to sit together or separate areas if you have different age groups or multiple families staying. The hot tub is an added bonus, and was well used. The location is great - an easy walk to the beach and also into the town. The Pembrokeshire coast is beautiful and Rhodewood lodge is a great base from which to explore it. Definitely far superior to your normal holiday let and highly recommended.

We stayed here as a group with friends, 3 families in total. There was so much space that we could all enjoy the holiday whether it be relaxing in the garden and hottub, watching the Olympics, having a BBQ. Bedtime was easy as the house was so quiet if some were still up while others wanted to sleep there is no noise transfer through the house. My younger boy loved relaxing with Netflix before bed. The older teenagers liked the freedom to be able to walk into Saundersfoot for ice-creams without having an adult with them. The beaches are amazing a lovely stroll down through the woods to get to the beach especially nice when the tide is out. Local area has lots to offer we tried Coasteering as a group and everyone really enjoyed the experience. Local restaurants were lovely too. We would definitely return to this luxury house as we felt at home and there is lots more to discover in Pembrokeshire that we didn't have time for.

We stayed at Rhodewood Lodge last week as part of a large group off friends. The house is amazing, decorated and furnished to a very high standard thoughout, comfy beds and huge showers . The owners have given careful thought to what their guests will require during their stay. The hot tub was a huge hit will all ages and the view, just amazing while sipping a glass of bubbles. The house & garden were too nice to leave, but we did wander into Saundersfoot for a spot of shopping and some great food the "Beachside BBQ" a firm favourite . The ice-cream shop was a hit with the kids. My son has already asked to return next summer, WE WILL BE BACK !!

Truly amazing property. Stunningly presented. The owner gave very detailed information about the area and things to do. Everything had been taken care of to take the hassle out of a stay. The hot tub was also an added extra. Would definitely recommend this fabulous property as you can walk to all amenities, town centre and beach.
