Reviews

We just returned from a two night stay in this glorious pod today. It was quaint, cosy, comfortable and a proper home from home. We booked this stay very last minute (booked wednesday to stay on the friday) for 3 nights but only stayed 2 because of work commitments but so glad we did as it meant we could check out later than the 10.00 that we would normally have to. The weather wasn’t the best but it didn’t stop us making good use of the hot tub. Only downfall is that you cannot use the provided pegs to hold towels in the rain as they get wet so we had to walk back to the pod without them and dry by the door we did brainstorm that maybe a little roof or cupboard over the hooks would solve this but it really wasn’t an issue as even though it was november the heat from being in the pod and tub meant you didn’t feel the cold walking back and forth anyway. Everything you could possibly want is here from cooking utensils to linen. The little touches really make this destination great fromt the rope edging in the corners to the tea, coffee, sugar, milk provided, ornaments and the seriously cute rabbit keyring. The fact that netflix was included too was a very pleasant surprise. We arrived late and in the dark but the fire was already on and the whole pod was toasty warm! Just as the hot tub was. A little but of info on how to work it might be handy for those who have never used them before but it was very simple to use really. We ventured into rhayader town on the Saturday afternoon for a meal in the crown and used the simon price taxi firm. He was very helpful as in the evening we returned to the pod and tried to order a takeaway but none of the takeaway places deliver at all and simon very kindly agreed to collect and pay for our order and deliver it to us and then we reimbursed him upon delivery. So we highly recommend him for any transport needs. The views are uninterrupted infront of this pod and to sit in the tub and look out at it and listen to the kites calling each other across the valley was like something out of a dream! We still cannot get over how clean and comfortable we were in the pod so much so that we have decided to make it an annual getaway and have already booked this very same pod for the same time next year!
