Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
These barns are beautifully restored to cozy modern home from homes. The view is stunning each day when you open the curtains it takes your breath away. There's great local walking and lots of local attractions if that floats your boat. We were just delighted to walk locally with the dog and get back to the hot tub. The property was sparkling clean, and had everything you need to cook should you wish to, underfloor heating keeps the property warm and the shower even though it's over bath is a proper rain shower - simply lovely.
Perfect ! After our wedding at Oxwich bay this was the absolute perfect location to spend a weekend, the place was spotless, views were amazing. The barn was loaded with everything, all you needed was yourself and food. Definitely finished off our wedding perfectly. Lin the owner was amazing, communication was excellent, she even called over on our last day to warn about floods in a near village. A special place for andrea and I and we will be returning.
We have just returned from a fabulous family week break at number 2 beacon view barns. It was simply outstanding!! The views of the Welsh mountains were stunning and the hot tub on a cold winters day was wonderfully warm and relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for more from Lin or her husband James as they were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us - especially when we encountered a little problem with our car and they put us in touch with someone who sorted it with kindness and generosity. The Barn came with everything you would need for a peaceful self catering break, and the little touches such as fresh eggs, flowers and a bottle of Prosecco on arrival were a nice surprise indeed. Many thanks to Lin and James for supplying such a beautiful holiday home from home. We will definitely be looking to return in the near future. Diolch
We had such a fabulous stay at beacon view barns, number 2, the barn was modern and cleaned to a high standard and was perfectly set up for families with everything you could need! The hot tub was an added bonus with amazing views. The area was lovely with plenty to see and do! The owners were very attentive leaving fresh eggs and prosecco more importantly!! Can’t wait to come and stay again in the future, would highly recommend! Thanks lin and James xxx
Me and my partner stayed here for a few days this month and it was amazing. The views are incredible and the cottage was so beautiful and well equipped. There was lots of little touches like prosecco, milk and eggs on arrival. The cottage was absolutely spotless. There was a minor problem with the internet dropping out, but as soon as we informed Lin the owner she came straight down and fixed this for us straight away! Would highly recommend to anyone. The cottage was very private and was just the perfect place to relax. The only feedback would be that the cottage was quite hard to find as the postcode is set for about 2.5 miles at the end of the road, however there were people about to ask for directions. Definitely worth the trip !
My sons booked this for us for a birthday treat for a 2 night stay. The barn was immaculate with everything you need. The owners had left a bottle of Prosseco, milk, coffee, tea bags and some fresh eggs (scrambled eggs were lovely). If you are looking for a lovely relaxing break with amazing views, then this is the place. We didn't wander far so cant say much about places to visit, The sun was shining so we just relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed the views. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully visit again.
Each year around Easter time we have go away with our friends to a lodge or barn property where we can find beautiful walks and enjoy exploring small towns and country pubs. We have always had great experiences but at this property the owner, Lin ,went above and beyond to ensure we had the most comfortable and enjoyable holiday, she was amazing! The barn was very clean and tidy and surprisingly very warm considering there was snow on arrival. It is exactly as the pictures portray, if not better (it was a little bigger than expected) The views from the barn are beautiful and even better from the hot tub which was cleaned almost each day of our stay and big enough for 4 adults. When we arrived Lin had left us all of the information we needed and even left us eggs from the farm and milk, tea and coffee. She left us to enjoy our holiday but we knew she was close by and happy to help should we have needed her. Lin recommended some excellent places to eat and towns to explore. Ludlow was our favourite! It is a beautiful market town that reminded us of a smaller version of York/Chester. The barn is secluded but there are lots of lovely walks and places to explore within driving distance, we managed with a 7 month old baby! Overall a wonderful place to stay to rest, refuel and get away from busyness! Thank you so much Lin, we had the best Easter trip yet!
