Presented to a high standard, there are two well-proportioned bedrooms, a double and a twin. The well-equipped kitchen has a spacious dining area and guests can enjoy home cooking after an active day out. Perhaps visit nearby Cromarty, an 18th century fishing port and renowned for being the best preserved village in the Highlands. From here you can take a high-speed boat to see the dolphins and other wildlife at close quarter but remember to book first! A fabulous area with so much to do, a great holiday home to enjoy and the whole Northern Highlands and Cairngorms at your feet to explore.

The small village of Culbokie sits in a pretty location on the north side of the Black Isle, made up of a mixture nice new houses that complement the traditional stone cottages. A lovely well equipped lodge in the countryside on the Black Isle. If you like peace and tranquillity with glorious views but within easy exploration range of the far north of Scotland then we highly recommend Pine Lodge. Alan and Helen are friendly, welcoming, helpful hosts and the views over the Cromarty Firth are beautiful. There is plenty of activity at the bird feeders for those that love their wildlife. Dad & I spent a very comfortable and enjoyable week in Pine Lodge and will definitely look to return before too long.

The lodge has fantastic views of the highlands and is in a beautiful rural setting overlooking Cromarty Firth. Owners are incredibly friendly, helpful and provide books, guides and maps to ensure you have all the information you need to explore the locality. A great base for walking, kayaking, cycling and wildlife spotting. We felt very privilege to be there and will return.

Beautifully situated lodge with terrific views. The lodge is superbly equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. An excellent welcome pack with delicious biscuits. Interesting bovine and avian neighbours who provided lots of entertainment. Ideal site from which to explore the Black Isle. Pine Lodge also gave us a good base for a series of cycle rides which were part of my Lands End to John o Groats epic. Very helpful and friendly owners made us feel very at home.

We received a warm welcome from Helen and Alan. Pine lodge had everything we needed for a great week. The view from the lounge was lovely and the bird feeder outside was a bonus! Coming back to the lodge after a long day sightseeing was a treat. Would definitely stay there again.
