This delightful cottage is situated in the heart of the Norfolk seaside village of Heacham. 11 The Drift is immaculately-presented and in the perfect location for a coastal break or family holiday near to the fabulous Norfolk coastline. The first floor features a double bedroom with a TV/DVD player, a cosy twin room and a further bedroom with bunk beds. There is a family bathroom with bath and shower over, perfect for a relaxing soak after a day at the beach. The inviting sitting room boasts a woodburner, so no matter what the weather is doing outside, you can be warm and cosy whilst watching a movie or reading that novel that you just can’t put down. The well-equipped kitchen provides all you need to create some tasty meals to enjoy in the family dining room. There is a utility room leading to the garden area with a BBQ and patio area to enjoy some al fresco dining or perhaps contemplate how to spend the coming days. The village centre is a short stroll away and has a good selection of shops and pubs. The wonderful sandy beach is less than a mile away and is the perfect spot to watch the wonderful big sky sunsets that this wonderful coastline is famous for. Just a few miles away is the Sandringham Estate, with its famous Royal residence and extensive woodland walks. Hunstanton is within easy reach and offers an abundance of traditional seaside attractions including amusements, a sea life centre, or even take a trip on the wash monster out into the wash to see the seals. The Norfolk coast has an abundance of quaint fishing villages such as Wells and Blakeney where you can take boat trips in and around the wash. There are also bird reserves to enjoy, extensive sandy beaches and a number of historical local attractions to explore. There really is something for everyone to enjoy in and around this Heacham cottage and fabulous holiday memories await.

We stayed here for our family holiday and we were not disappointed! The cottage is spacious and clean with every need catered for and is close to amenities in the village(pub,Tesco metro, chemist)and 2mins drive from beach. On arrival we found a lovely welcome pack with tea, coffee etc and most importantly wine!there was also milk in fridge and eggs supplied.There is a good selection of games and dvds in the cottage for wet days and cosy evenings and also a box in the garden with buckets, spades and nets which are available to use for beach days. The owner Claire is lovely and made it known that we could contact her anytime for any issues. We would definitely book to stay here again if we go back to the area and would highly recommend it as very family friendly. This was our first trip to Norfolk and it certainly won’t be the last!
