Outside there is off road parking for one car and an enclosed lawned garden with furniture and a barbecue. The cottage has lovely views over farmland and meadows. Owl's Nest provides a fantastic base for those looking to get away from it all.

This attractive detached barn conversion has an open plan living area, a double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom. There are beams in most rooms giving it character and modern décor to bring it right up to date. The cottage feels spacious yet cosy, with comfy leather sofas to sink into after a day in the countryside. Looking out over the grazing sheep and green meadows gives a sense of really being away from it all. Note: This property is opposite Ref: 934512, together they sleep 6.

Outstanding friendly hosts. Comfortable, clean, well equipped cottages with information booklet on using the kitchen appliances and how to recycle any necessary waste. Dog friendly with water bowl provided. Very comfortable furniture in living and comfortable beds with quality linen provided. Quality towels provided in bathroom. Cleaning products available, along with washing machine, dishwasher and clothes airer. Local information on walks, attractions, pubs, restaurants etc in the cottage. Free parking spaces and turning point. Guests are welcome to tour the working farm and walk your dog in the fields that are free from livestock (sheep). Fabulous views of Exmouth and surrounding countryside. Superb location to explore North Devon. Would highly recommend Owl's Nest (sleeps 4+) and Jack's Nest (Sleeps 2) for that ideal getaway holiday.

We have just returned from visiting Owl's Nest and we had a wonderful stay. The cottage has everything you need whether it's in the kitchen or throughout the property. A full array of tourist leaflets and books about the area and local pubs and shops to visit, including a local farm for fresh eggs. The cleanliness was a very high standard throughout with comfortable beds and bedding. There is a gate by the stairs to stop dogs going upstairs which was really helpful, also another long gate dividing the kitchen to the lounge it needed. The private garden is fully enlcosed for dogs which we were very pleased about as we've visited properties before which give that statement and they are not. Our thanks to the owner Elaine for being very welcoming and helpful together with the lovely cream tea and flowers on arrival which was a nice surprise. We would have no hesitation in returning.

This was the 3rd visit to owls nest in 5 years everything you need and more Elaine and Michael are very friendly and Ben the dog is a cheeky chap, our tri-paw fudge loved playing with Ben and we had the added extra that he was safe in the secure garden. The cottage is a short drive to south Molton and there are some really good dog friendly beaches. We have already booked again for next year

Myself, wife and our two Siberian Huskies stayed the first week in July just as lockdown finished. Elaine & Micheal where great hosts and there was nothing they would not do to help if needed. The cottage had everything you would require from a home away from home. If we every go down to devon again we would have no problem staying here again we had an amazing holiday.

We have stayed here 3 times and have had amazing holidays each time. This is a well stocked cottage and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The cream tea is a lovely surprise. We would recommend visiting South Molton on market days.

Comfortable cottage accommodation in South Molton, accepts pets. Well stocked on necessities e.g. kitchen utensils. Cream tea waiting for us on arrival :) Bedrooms are fair sized and also comfortable. Would recommend to others and return too.
