Grasmere is one of eleven apartments in a courtyard in the village of Sawrey just two miles from Hawkshead in the Lake District National Park. The apartment sleeps five people and has a double bedroom, a family room and a family bathroom. The rest of the accommodation is made up of an open-plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove as well as shared use of an external laundry room. Outside is plenty of off-road parking and shared use of a lawned garden with outdoor furniture. Grasmere is a wonderful apartment for a memorable holiday in a fabulous location.

A spacious ground floor stone courtyard cottage, located close to Esthwaite Water and Hill Top, home of Beatrix Potter. The cottage features open plan living with a kitchen and a sitting area with a woodburning stove, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside is shared use of a paddock with furniture and views across to the Lake District fells.
The village of Sawrey is situated two miles from Hawkshead down the eastern side of Esthwaite Water. Sawrey consists of two separate hamlets - Near Sawrey and Far Sawrey - both with a cluster of picturesque cottages, tea rooms and pubs.

Reviews
Fantastic location with access to the beautiful Esthwaite water and its wildlife. Accommodation is basic. Bedrooms are good size but living area/kitchen is limited. Night storage heaters are effective, keeping the rooms warm. Dogs are allowed which was great for us but it did feel as though the carpets/rugs needed cleaning/replacing as a result. Overall happy but would be much improved with a bit of a facelift.
