Reviews

A brilliant, relaxing property. Well maintained and beautifully decorated. Everything was there that we needed, and then some! We viewed another of the owners properties whilst we were there and look forward to booking a holiday there next year, perhaps during warmer months so as to see Cemaes bay at its best.

Four of us were here last week and couldn't imagine there's a more suitable place to stay to fulfill our needs. On arrival the place was spotlessly clean and we were all taken aback by the size, quality of decor and overall ambience of the accommodation . The outside space is really nice too with the bubbling warm hot tub the jewel in the crown. We used the kitchen facilities frequently and none of us could think of anything that the owners hadn't provided. The location is perfect too, just a short stroll to the beach which will take you past a number of bars, shops and cafes within which I found the staff and locals to be very welcoming and friendly. Overall a really great break which all of us said we'd love to repeat one day.

What can I say about this stunning, perfectly decorated, warm cosy amazing property but WOW. The nicest best equipped holiday rental we, ve ever stayed at and we come to Anglesey at least 3 times a year. Spotless, every room a delight. We literally didn't want for anything except to see when we can come back. David the host was fantastic and replied to messages pronto. Cemaes itself is a pretty little village perfect to totally chill, friendly locals. Beautiful coastline. Fantastic time had by all four of us

Recently stayed at this house and I have to say I have never been more impressed with a rental accommodation. Everything you could want is provided. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and beautifully furnished. There is even room to ride my mobility scooter inside, turn round in the kitchen and park it underneath the stairs. For anyone who is disabled there is a sofa bed in the living room and a downstairs toilet and bathroom. Everything you need in a kitchen is provided. It's so close to shops with friendly staff and a lovely cafe for breakfast if you don't want to cook for yourself. The owners are always on hand to answer questions or assist in any way they can. The only thing I could have asked for more of is time staying there!!!! Will definitely be returning for another visit.

Disappointing One toilet was non-operational from arrival on Saturday until Tuesday of our week-long stay Throughout the weeks stay, a radiator rattling and other noises disturbed my wife and children’s sleep to the extent that we all four ended up sleeping in one bed in the quieter bedroom The property’s driveway can accommodate 2 cars as advertised , but during our stay, one of these parking spaces was continuously occupied by the neighbouring “annex” property’s guests vehicle, which made access tricky The property does not have a lawned garden that we were able to find, contra to details as advertised on Sykes website”

Stayed here for a week in June 2018 and wow what a place! Well appointed accommodation with everything you would need and more. Superbly located just a few minutes walk from the village centre and harbour. Lovely small shops well stocked with everything you need, The chippy is superb and only cooks fresh fish to order (no frozen rubbish) The owner David is a lovely guy and very helpful. Cemaes is a beautiful village and there are so many things to do and see nearby. Parys Mountain is a must. We will be back :)

Well where do I start? I can honestly say everything was perfect from start to finish! Our hosts DJ and Lee had truly thought of everything to ensure that we had an amazing stay, from making sure that the cottage was all “Christmassy” to a beautiful Christmas hamper , nothing way too much trouble. The cottage also has a beautiful massive hot tub. The local pub is really friendly and the beach is lovely we really didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return in April thank you both for helping us make some amazing family memories, I would highly recommend this cottage along with the hosts other cottage next door “Smithys Cottage”

The location is perfect , short walk from beach and all local amenities. Lovely coastal walks and the bay's are stunning . There are dog restrictions on the main beach but they are allowed at the far end. The only issue we had was the residents opposite who like to party all night every night until 4am on some occasions! So we had very little sleep which was a shame as the bedrooms are stunning. Also the hot tub and bar area are in the front garden so not private and it's not secure for the dogs to be out there . There is a small paved garden at the rear but not very attractive.
