White Rose Apartment, Filey

We've just spent 2 nights at this wonderful apartment, extremely well presented, clean and modern with everything you need. It is a beautiful location, leisure facilities close by, full use of the pool/sauna and steam room were additional treats. Local pub on site 100 yards away with nice food, lovely atmosphere and the beach from the Bay is such a lovely walk, we literally walked from The Bay to Filey on the sandy beaches, had lovely lunch, gorgeous views out to sea, ice creams and a lovely stroll back, cosy evenings in the apartment snuggled watching Netflix after long days at the Beach/Walking and lots of fresh air. It was perfect. Resort is super clean with lovely gardens surrounding, full WIFI in the apartment and cosy comfort. Super dog friendly too - which is just perfect when your is part of your family. Would highly recommend and will visit again

We had a wonderful weekend in this fabulous apartment. It’s modern,clean, beautifully decorated and well appointed. Excellent location; very close to the pub/restaurant, shop, chemist and leisure facilities and nice walk down to the beach. Great communication from the owner. Definitely recommend and we will definitely stay here again.

This is my second time staying at the apartment with my husband, child (9) and dog. Due to this apartment being booked up over New Year, we stayed in a new place on the same site. Although the other place was clean and perfectly adequate, it just wasn’t as homely as White Rose. We really felt the difference when we switched. Small things like having some tea or coffee available straight away, the beautiful Molten Brown hand wash in the bathroom, THE HOTTEST, shower known to man (very much needed after a long day out), the sensor lights for when my child wakes to use the bathroom in the night….could go on. We had a day in Brid, walked to the beach, took the dog to the pub….perfect. Once again, the place was spotless, towels were fluffy, Wi-Fi excellent, and nothing was too much trouble for Helen who was very kind and generous to me and my family. This is a perfect spot for a stay in Filey and we will be back for sure.

We recently spent a great couple of nights in this lovely presented apartment. It is in a great location and is equipped with everything you need to make it a real home from home. The accommodation was spotless on arrival and the communication with owner prior to arrival was excellent. Will definitely be back and have already recommended to friends and family.

This is our third visit to this fab apartment, perfect for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs. It was spotlessly clean, everything is provided, near to the main area where the entertainment centre is and a 5min walk from the beach, which is perfect for our dogs and us. We were blessed with lovely weather, it was really peaceful and Filey is within walking distance too! We'll definitely be back!

Just had a few days at this lovely apartment just me and my little dog. Booked last minute but everything was ready for my little break. Would recommend to others. Close to all amenities plus stunning walks.

Just got back home from a week in this lovely apartment. Perfectly sized for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs. Everything we needed for a holiday stay was provided and even the sun shone for most of the week which helps of course. Clifftop walks and a beautiful beach on site meant we didnt always have to drive to find somewhere to while away the time. Evening walks were fun as the dogs encountered the bunnies which came out as the sun set. Also recommended, especially for dog owners, Filey Brig Country Park, and Scarborough North Bay. Parking around most of the area was so easy using the PayGo app. Except for Scarborough South Bay parking meters which all seemed to have no internet connection. This made it impossible to use the app or even to pay by card. So that did leave lots of parking spaces empty, just make sure you have some of that old metal currency for those.

We booked very last minute and set off the next morning (2 adults, 1 child 7yrs, 1 tubby French Bulldog) Helen sent all details required for our stay and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was comfortable and cosy and had everything you need for your stay. No complaints from my daughter on the sofa bed and the shower was great after long sandy walks on the beach. The pub on site welcomes dogs too which was fab. If you fancy a family night in there are some board games in the cupboard under the TV and we ordered in from a takeaway called Stone Baked (pizzas, burgers, kebabs etc) via JustEat. No trouble finding the apartment either to deliver. Overall, a great stay and the perfect start to 2022. Definitely going to rebook! Thanks Helen

We booked the White Rose Apartment for a weeks stay in August. The apartment was very well kept and comfortable for our family (2 adults and 1 child). Located close to the pub and cafe the apartment is in an excellent location for all the bay site has to offer. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay on the east coast.

Lovely clean and very well equipped Apartment, close to all the facilities, pool and eateries. Nice walk into Filey either along the beach or costal path depending on tides timings. Safe and secure with regular patrols and quiet too. Will definitely return

This is a nicely furnished, good sized apartment in a very good location on "The Bay" Filey near to swimming pool, gym and John Paul Jones pub/restaurant and Bay Diner. Just returned from a week with my wife and Granddaughter. Apartment has one bedroom, but sofa in large living room makes into a very comfortable double bed. Well equipped kitchen area with all you need for eating in or out. A pleasant walk to the beach which has plenty of space for safety. The uphill walk back is a bit of a tester but good exercise! All in all had a great time.

My wife and myself have just had a weeks stay at Rose Cottage,and I must say what a lovely apartment and location it was. Rose cottage itself as everything you need and more including WiFi and a well equipped kitchen with every utensil required if dining in is your choice.If not then you are only two minutes walk away from the on-site pub which serves nice food,it is also situated within the sites leisure centre which caters for both adults and children. There is plenty of parking available with the added bonus of on-site security who patrol on a regular basis. The location is ideal for exploring the East coast either by vehicle or on foot if walking is your preferred option.The beach is about 15 minutes walk away down hill but once there is beautiful and offers a lovely beach walk to nearby Filey. In general I would highly recommend Rose Cottage,and it's location.

My husband and I (and the dog) Had a really lovely three night stay at this apartment. We arrived to early complimentary access to this Tastefully decorated Ground floor apartment. Apartment contains all you need and more, kitchen well equipped to prepare everything from simple meals or the full roast if you should wish to. Ideally situated for beach access. We walked miles and were lucky enough to have lovely weather always a bonus. Will definitely recommend to friends and will be booking again ourselves.

This was our first time at the White Rose Apartment...we loved it so much we even booked another long weekend for April prior to leaving!! Firstly, the apartment itself has everything you will need for your stay inc hairdryer, the kitchen has every utensil you could think of, you are provided with towels (but you will need your own for the pool), there is wifi and even netflix courtesy of the owner. The lounge sofa converts into a bed, super comfy for cosy nights in. It was very quiet, we couldn't hear anyone else to the side or above despite them being used as we saw people arriving when we did. We slept so well to say we were away from home...super comfy pillows! The complex has everything as well, including pub, pool, amusements and gym. We particularly enjoyed the pizza at The Bay Kitchen (you'll need cash). We spent a long weekend here with our 2 dogs. We walked the entire length of Filey Bay, there are signposts to the beach. Tuen right onto the beach, this takes you to a nice little Beach Cafe about 3/4 of a mile along, again you'll need cash. We stopped here for doggy sausages and some lunch on our way back. Turn left on the beach, this leads to Filey where there are numerous tea spots and fish/chip shops on the front. We spent most of our weekend walking, the beach is perfect for dogs, very spacious, there are many dogs on site and most are off-lead as were ours. The rest of the time we spent in the pool/steam/sauna and chilling with Netflix. A fantastic place...we will be regulars no doubt!

Me, my husband and our 2 dogs stayed at the gorgeous white rose apartment for a second time over the new year for 7 nights. The location on the glorious Yorkshire coast is fantastic, being a 5-10 minutes stroll to the beach - perfect for the dogs! - and only a short drive away from Filey and Scarborough. The apartment itself has everything you need for a really comfortable stay, with free wifi, freeview tv with Netflix, dishwasher, washing machine and even a slow cooker which comes in handy at this time of year! We've had another great stay and are already looking forward to returning to white rose apartment later this year.

We stopped here for a long weekend and loved it. The apartment has everything you need for a fabulous holiday from a dishwasher and washing machine to two TV's with net flix. Although there was four of us whe had everything we needed for our stay. The Bay has everything you need for a family holiday and it's close proximity to the award winning beach means you're only a 5 minute walk away. We will be returning.

Briiliant place. Highly recomended. Clean abd tidy. 5 minute walk to the beach. Great entertainment at the pub just opposite. Great for kids too. Magic shows disco parties. Weve stayed here twice. Always happy.

Highly, Highly recommend We stayed in the white rose apartment for 7 nights and it was perfect. We went away to have some family time and that’s exactly what we did. The apartment is fully equipped which made our stay so much easier. All bedding and towels provided which is always a bonus. There is also lovely pub, cafe ( bistro ), swimming pool with steam room and sauna as well as a gym. We will definitely be going back next year.

The apartment is on a lovely resort call The Bay, we arrived late and were met by security who were so friendly and helpful. The apartment has everything you would need and more. It was clean, well looked after and only a short walk to the pub and beach. We were able to walk into Filey and only a short drive to Scarborough and Bridlington. The apartment, resort and beach are extremely dog friendly. Can’t wait to go again.xxx

We booked to stay in this amazing apartment over the Mayday bank holiday for two adults and a big dog. Arrival at the apartment couldn’t have been easier with ample parking anywhere on site and instructions for arrival. The apartment was beautifully furnished and was unbelievably equipped to cook anything from a light snack to a full roast dinner. Helen and Richard had put together a guide to the area which gave us a wealth of options of things to do and places to eat with the dog. This is something we generally find hard as many places don’t cater for dogs, however, we couldn’t believe how dog friendly not only the complex was but also the surrounding area. We made great use of the beach where dogs are aloud to run freely (again something that is normally restricted at certain times of the year). We really benefited from the complementary Netflix so after a long dog walk we could come back and relax infant of our favourite box sets. The pub directly opposite (John Paul Jones Pub) does a fabulous Sunday roast and the staff couldn’t do enough for us over the weekend. I booked this two bed a few weeks ago for me and my kids during half term. Everything was included cleaning , linen and leisure passes at no extra cost. I was surprised to find all cleaning materials were under the sink for our use, so saving the hassle of having to bring with us. The house was beautifully furnished and well equipped, really comfortable a real home from home. It has a separate kitchen which was useful and the patio garden area was quiet and peaceful with ample parking at the rear. We had superb walks along the beach to Filey which took approximately 45 minutes. The beach was outstanding very clean.We used the leisure facilities and they were also excellent . The leisure and reception staff were once again very professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property and we will be returning.
