The first words in the listing for this property should be CAUTION - NO WIFI!. I was traveling for two weeks on business from the US and WIFI is a must! I didn't find out until the nonrefundable payment was made. I had to hot spot through my phone with my data plan. The shower drain in the shower room had dried out from non use and the room stunk of sewer gas. The dishwasher stunk up the whole kitchen until I ran it for a few cycles with detergent that I had to purchase. I also had to purchase laundry detergent. The heat and hot water is supposed to "recharge" at night. I was unable to have a hot shower in the evenings until I figured out how to manually turn on the water heater. Depending on the outside temperature I often had to manually switch on the heat in a few rooms. I had to figure out how to reprogram the TV channels in the living area and never did manage to get the bedroom TV to work. If you are light sensitive be prepared to rise early. The bedrooms could benefit from black-out curtains. There are other mild annoyances like no mirror over the sink in the main bathroom for shaving. On the plus side it is a quiet location with beautiful views and convenient to Stratford. There is a nice Waitrose store a couple of miles away. If the neighbors cat comes begging to the back door it's my fault for spoiling her rotten. :^)
This is a lovely cottage all on one level with two bedrooms. It is nicely furnished with outdoor furniture and a lovely view. It has its own parking a little walk away from the entrance. It is about ten minutes drive to Stratford-Upon-Avon which was perfect for eating out and shopping. There are lots of national trust places in the area as well as Blenheim Palace and Warwick Castle. My only negative is the cottage doesn't have WIFI. It doesn't say it does on the advert so no misleading but I must admit I was surprised and a little disappointed as this is usually the norm in this day and age.
