Coltishall 2 miles. This beautifully-presented, ground floor detached holiday cottage is set in the grounds of the owner's home, close to the popular village of Coltishall. The property offers a perfect base for couples and solo travellers to enjoy this wonderful area of Norfolk with so much to do nearby. Step in to the cottage and you will immediately get a feel for the comfort with its kitchen with a cosy corner sofa (that can open up into a double sofa bed) and patio doors opening to the beautiful sun room overlooking the garden. The sun room is an ideal place to enjoy a morning coffee while planning your day or curl up with a good book. There are patio doors from the sun room with a ramp leading down to the back garden and patio area. The comfortable double bedroom and walk-in shower room can be accessed from the living area. Every detail has been taken into account to make this property a fantastic place to stay in this lovely location. There is a hot tub located behind the owners property for sole use of the lodge guests during their stay and bath robes are provided. Centrally located between the historical city centre or Norwich, delightful Norfolk Broads and spectacular Norfolk coastline. Whatever your interest this property is an ideal base for exploring this wonderful county. The pretty Norfolk Broadland village of Coltishall is known locally as the Gateway to the Broads, where, on Coltishall Common, you can find an array of moored boats sitting along the banks of the River Bure. The banks of the River Bure are the picturesque setting of Coltishall Staithe, a large grassed area enjoying riverside pubs and restaurants, a village store/Post Office and attractive cottages. In summer, both locals and visitors enjoy relaxing picnics, feeding the ducks and playing ball games, while in winter, the local waterfowl enjoy Coltishall Staithes riverside tranquillity.

My partner booked here for a surprise after Christmas 2 night stay here, really beautiful little cottage in grounds of owners house, just perfect size for a couple, booked through Sykes cottages don’t think pictures do it justice-it’s so cute and cosy and bed was a look nicer than it looked in pictures and sooo comfy! Upon arrival Very generous arrival pack of bread, butter, milk, orange juice, biscuits and a lovely bottle of White wine, owner cake and showed us how heating and shower worked and then left us too relax but told us if we needed anything just call Great folder full of local places to visit and how things worked in cottage Real added bonus was the amazing hot tub just round the side of owners property-really amazing and give you robes and flip flops to walk round to it Can’t believe the good value of this lovely little holiday place- visited cromer(half hour drive from cottage) and was lovely plus tried local Indian-Ali spice-they do delivery and was quick and tasty-would recommend So lovely especially as partner proposed while we stayed here-perfect romantic setting and would love to come back sometime Book book book lol
Quiet little lodge with stunning hot tub. The lodge has everything needed for a fantastic stay and spotlessly clean. ,. It is situated close to some beautiful villages . The owners are very very nice,
