House was lovely and there was everything we needed!! The kids loved the hot tub and the outside space to run around…it was great we had no neighbours so we weren’t worried about how noisy the kids were being!! They especially loved a game of hide and seek as the were lots of places to hide indoors :) Great to have a downstairs toilet and an amazing bath!! The house was clean but some things were a little bit dusty (lights etc.) but this comes with the type of property!! Overall a great stay a I would recommend!!

Just spent a fabulous week here in beautiful Welsh countryside. The accommodation is superb in every way from comfy beds to the hot tub. Had some lovely walks and met lots of sheep. Cottage has all amenities and is very clean and well presented. Weather had been mixed but who cares when you are in such gorgeous surroundings. Would definitely recommend and would come again.

We have just returned home following a week at this lovely barn. From the minute we walked in it felt like home with the extra amenities such as a lovely hot tub & log burner. The picture's online don't do the place justice since it was much larger than we initially thought. The location is also fantastic since you are roughly 20 minute's from the town's of Newtown and Llandrindod Wells which have Tesco, Aldi & Lidl for supermarket's along with pub's and bar's. It's also a great spot to view the Barn Owl's and Red Kite's if you enjoy bird watching whilst sat at the dining table through the bi-folding doors. (Please don't worry about any previously mentioned fly problems). This was definitely not evident during our 7 night stay. We even had the doors and windows open most evenings. It's such a shame that such an out of hand problem could warrant some previous single star reviews. This holiday home is a credit to the current owners! The cleanliness and quality finish is among the best you will find in a holiday let. We are already planning a winter break here (hopefully in the snow).

I have never left a negative review so feel awful to now, however... My family and I arrived on fri 19th of July 2019, very excited for a much needed holiday and were pleased with the look of of the place on the drive in. Within seconds of opening the door the smell of fly spray was overwhelming. On walking into the kitchen we were immediately struck by the amount of flies, particularly as there was a fly paper that was hanging loaded with dead flies. After spending two hours killing and cleaning up just under 100 flies we decided to contact the owners. We were fobbed of by the owners saying its just 'countryside living'. We live in a village, it was not. The outside of the property was fine, a few insects as you would expect but just the usual, the problem was inside. The house has a full infestation of flies. Following our complaint about the situation to the owners, they spent half an hour the following day standing in the garden "gardening", very much trying to intimidate us. By the third day, we realised we couldn't stay any longer due to not being able to use the kitchen, where the main infestation was. We spent 2 to 3 hours DAILY killing and cleaning up flies. When we killed the 700th fly on the 4th day we informed the owner and left. When we enquired about a partial refund, as recommended by the agents we booked with, the owners tried to imply that we had stained the bedding, that we didn't use due to the heat, and ornaments were "missing". Also, there is no games room as advertised. Awful place and immoral owners. We are taking further action. Avoid at all costs!!!!

This was a beautiful escape from everyday busy life... often we work too hard to appreciate our surroundings and take in nature.. a few days here puts you at peace... Very remote so if you want something busy it’s not for you, if you want to escape everyday life this is perfect for you! Wether with friends or family, just lovely.. i personally went with my partner and friends to celebrate a birthday, we had the best time cooking meals, playing games and chilling in the amazing hot tub. Also gentle walks to local pub for good food and drinks, just totally relaxing. The barn is a credit to the owners, i would love to know if they did the decor thereselves or got someone in because it’s so beautiful!!!
