Willow View is a lovely stone-built cottage in the village of Stoney Middleton, near to Eyam in the Peak District. The cottage can sleep four people in two bedrooms, comprising a super king-size double and a king-size double, both of which are zip/link and can be twin on request as well as a separate bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and woodburner. To the outside of the property is roadside parking for two cars on a first come, first served basis and enclosed front and rear patio gardens with furniture. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

This accommodation oozes warmth and character, with its exposed beams and wooden floors. The two bedrooms are beautifully decorated and offer plenty of flexibility in sleeping arrangements with uninterrupted views of the stunning surrounding countryside to enjoy from one of the bedrooms. The well-equipped modern kitchen provides everything for your culinary needs and a cosy sitting room featuring comfortable reclining sofas, a lovely woodburner with stone surround and dining area, is the perfect place to sit and relax with a delicious home cooked meal. Outside, you can enjoy the views of the surrounding hills from the sheltered patio whilst enjoying some alfresco dining. Stoney Middleton is a village steeped in history and sits at the foot of the limestone valley of Middleton Dale. The village boasts some beautiful listed buildings, such as St Martin's Church and the locally famous octagonal Toll House and only Grade 1 listed Fish and Chip shop in Britain. Stoney Middleton High Street is famed for being one of the steepest High Street's in the country! There's a lot to see and do in the surrounding area, such as a visit to Hathersage, with it's outdoor heated swimming pool and the elegant spa town of Buxton. For a more adventurous day out, why not explore the mysterious caverns of Castleton or a trip to Alton Towers for a great day out. This Derbyshire cottage is an ideal retreat for a great holiday at any time of the year.

Great location in a quiet street, ideal base for access to great walks and places of interest. Cottage is well looked after and is very well equipped, accommodation is roomy enough for two couples and off street parking for two cars is sufficient. We enjoyed a great stay and would definitely recommend the cottage.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
