The Cottage is a lovely single-storey cottage set in the grounds of the owners' home, on the edge of the village of Chilsworthy near Holsworthy. This cottage sleeps six people in two bedrooms, consisting of a double and a twin, together with a bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with sofa bed. Outside there's off road parking for two cars, a private patio, a shared lawned area and shared use of an indoor heated swimming pool. The Cottage is a delightful Devon base.

Inside this lovely cottage are two bedrooms, a bathroom and a welcoming open plan living area, whilst in the grounds is the added bonus of a shared indoor swimming pool for you to enjoy a splash before an evening meal on your own private patio. Shared use of indoor heated swimming pool (29' x 12' x 4' to 6' deep). Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. 1. The hosts are former publicans and superb communicators. We received precise instructions and a warm welcome. Very understanding when we stupidly placed an item on the night storage heater and the dye ran. They refused to make a drama out of it. They kindly allowed a late departure due to no-one coming in - a real help. 2. The furnishings are tasteful and inviting - a far cry form the usual drab affair. Given it was the end of the season, the whole cottage was in superb order and a welcoming play to be in. 3. The welcome pack included: milk, tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, kitchen and toilet rolls. Also a bottle of Prosecco ! 4. The towels were fluffy and plentiful. 5. The pool was a real bonus for the kids, although too cold for me (last week in October). At £70 a night in half term for a 2 bed, up-market cottage, a real bargain. Dogs genuinely welcome with lots of space for them. Holsworthy is a 7 minute drive away. It has 2 supermarkets and several take-aways. I thoroughly recommend this place (and its owners) , not least to the genuine care they have put in to the place. Real quality.
