Upstairs, there is a beautifully decorated bedroom with a comfortable double bed, as well as a modern bathroom benefiting from a bath, a welcome addition for soothing tired legs after a day walking the surrounding beautiful countryside. Outside, there is a rear enclosed garden with furniture and views over the open fields and hills, and Smithy Cottage also benefits from a sought after parking space. Bradwell village offers the convenience of three pubs all serving home-cooked meals, an award-winning restaurant, the Samuel Fox Country Inn, as well as a local supermarket, Post Office, bakery, fish and chip shop and the famous Bradwell ice-cream shop! There are lots of countryside walks available from the doorstep and the popular village of Castleton is a short drive away, with its visitor centre and famous Blue John Caverns. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
