We loved the cottage, so lovely and quirky yet super well equipped and cosy. Great location also. We didn't meet our hosts, but they couldn't have been more helpful and kind. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.
We loved this cottage and enjoyed the tastefully furnished rooms and the welcoming atmosphere. The stairs are very narrow and steep, so not for the disabled. The bedroom at the top has the most beautiful views, while the other two bay windows also overlook the Old Town and the West Hill, perfect for watching the sunrise cast its pink glow ove the lansdscape, houses and church. The location is an ideal starting point for walks around the Old Town, the fishing beach and the country park. All appliances in the cottage are in perfect working order, the bathroom both modern and traditional, and all bedlinen and towels were ready supplied, along with a welcoming food basket. Parking available in a public car park in the Bourne, easily reached by footpath and steps. The teenagers enjoyed having access to wifi, and sitting outside in the pretty little patio with a mug of tea was delightful. It's a dream of a place to be staying at! Best I have ever had.
