Lovely hosts who couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. Hot tub was lovely and warm, the whole property was warm thanks to thermostat-controlled underfloor heating, and the log burner made the room really cosy! Patrick and Orsola were very friendly and happy to have a chat, but also gave enough space that we felt very relaxed in a home-from-home. Orsola also cooked us a DELICIOUS meal for our anniversary - we heartily recommend trying her food, she’s a real artiste! The grounds of their property are also very picturesque. Added bonus - DOG FRIENDLY. Our puppy loved his visit!
Just home from a beautiful, relaxing and romantic 5 day stay at the Barn near Narbeth. The Barn at Waunlippa had everything needed , from romantic log fires, in idyllic settings, to bubbles relaxing in the hot tub, topped off with a professionally cooked and served two course meal, designed, created and lovingly made by Orsola. Patrick and Orsola are the perfect host! Friendly, approachable, accommodating and adopting the correct balance for us to enjoy time alone in a peaceful and gorgeous setting. The kitchen is well equipped to be completely self catering. The shower was hot and powerful. The bed was very comfortable, we both slept well. This area I was most concerned about as I am very fussy about mattress and pillows, but no complaints here. Underfloor heating. Thermostat available to set your own room temperature both on the living area and the bedroom, but in all honesty the log burner was all that was needed for cosy days-nights in. The grounds were picturesque and very peaceful. We have Come away so so relaxed!
