A little further afield there is the Metrocentre in Newcastle upon Tyne and Hadrian's Wall to explore as well as a host of National Trust and English Heritage properties. This place is beautiful. The owners are welcoming and friendly and the working farm is lovely. The property is so peaceful and has everything you could want. The master bedroom was so comfortable and the en-suite is enticing with all its luxurious toiletries. The kitchen is inviting and the you really feel at home. It really does have the 5 star feel to it. The linen was fantastic and the special touches with the bath robes was divine. The next time I am in the area, I will definitely be booking into this property.
