Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, bidet and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with gas woodburner-effect stove.
Location Details
The historic, South Lakeland village of Cartmel is renowned as the prettiest village in the Lake District. The Priory Church, one of the finest ecclesiastical buildings in the north of England, remains the heart of the community with its gatehouse forming the entrance to the village. The village features pretty streamside walks, quaint cobbled streets littered with antique shops, a charming gift shop, welcoming, traditional pubs serving real ale, the nationally acclaimed, Michelin Star awarded L'Enclume restaurant, and the Cartmel Village shop, which sells the famous sticky toffee pudding.
Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Very happy with our recent stay at this fine accommodation. Everything you need for your self catering break is within the property which on arrival was found to be cleaned to a high standard and for us this is essential. We stayed in pheasant cottage which is warm and cosy and use of the side private garden is also very refreshing . Although we didn’t meet the owners who live adjacent we had contact with Pam a very nice and helpful lady who was available on site if required . The cottage is about 4 mins away from Cartmell village down a typical Lake District leafy lane which is not really busy . We used the property as a base for our fly fishing break and it was more than suitable for local runs and a trip to Bowness. Well recommended.
