This delightful single storey, semi-detached cottage, dates back to 1834 and is attached to the owners own home, occupying a roadside position within the little hamlet of Pant Glas, on the fringe of the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales mid way between Porthmadog and Caernarfon. The cottage is ideal for friends, a family or indeed a couple and provides an excellent base for exploring all North Wales has to offer. Tastefully furnished to a good standard throughout, you’ll feel welcomed the minute you arrive at this property. The well-appointed sitting room has comfortable seating and a relaxing atmosphere and a dining area, equally ideal for a family meal together or a leisurely breakfast, both of which can be prepared in the modern, well-equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms, a king-size and a twin provides flexible sleeping arrangements and memory foam mattresses will ensure a comfortable nights sleep, both serviced by a modern shower room. There is parking for one car at the front of the cottage and a lovely rear courtyard with seating, providing an ideal place for you to relax and enjoy a glass of something at the end of the day. Perfectly located for exploring this beautiful area of North Wales, with some wonderful walks on the doorstep and some great cycle routes close by. Criccieths sandy beaches and ancient castle are seven miles away and the popular resorts of Abersoch and Pwllheli are easily reached, all well worth exploring, with many miles of sandy beach and water sport opportunities. The Royal town of Caernarfon is ten miles away and well worth a visit, whilst the Isle of Anglesey provides a great day out. Within driving distance is the Italianate village of Portmeirion, the wonderful Snowdonia National Park, the harbour town of Porthmadog, home of the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Steam Railways. There really is something for everyone in North Wales and Bwlch yr Awel Cottage can be enjoyed at any time of the year and provides an ideal base.
The lovely quiet village of Penygroes is situated around six miles from the town of Caernarfon, bordering the Snowdonia National Park with beautiful scenic walks and mountain views easily accessible. A good selection of shops, cafes and pubs are available in the village and the wider local area is full of restaurants and activities such as golfing, swimming, tennis, surfing and horse riding to name but a few.

The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
